No one can deny that we have thoroughly enjoyed Mouni Roy’s stint as goddess Sati in Devon Ke Dev….Mahadev on Life OK.

However now her stint in the show is over but she has successfully left an imprint on the character she played and one would always remember for the innocent portrayal of Sati. But did you know that before taking up the show she was reluctant about it.

“I never wanted to do a mythological show. When the production house (Triangle Film Company) called me for this role my answer was a straight ‘no’. However, they asked me to visit them where they explained me the character and showed me the story board. And the way things were explained it looked like a grand project and it was indeed a very grand one. So to sum up, after Mahadev, now I have different thoughts altogether on doing mytho shows,” she shares.

Talking about her Mahadev experience she further said, “It was a universal love story and a difficult concept to deal with. The creative team has done an amazing job. In fact, we worked meticulously on my costume which included from having a flower on my hair to the entire draping.”

Life OK’s mythological series Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev is emerging top on the TRP ladder. Its lead, Mohit Raina has attained immense popularity.

Now, as we wrote about Sati (Mouni Roy) dying in the show thereby marking the entry of Parvati, there was a lot of hype about the actor who would sign the dotted line to play the role of Parvati.

The hunt of Parvati has finally come to its end as beautiful Sonarika Bhadoria has been cast to portray the epic role. She was last seen as Abhilasha, a simple small town new bride in Life OK’ Tum Dena Saath Mera.

Along with this buzz also states that Ishita Vyas has been brought on board to essay Parvati’s best friend, Jaya, and a new face Mamta Nagar would essay Vijaya. Ishita has acted in movies and on television, was last seen in Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani as Jhalkari. In the show, Jaya will be the only friend of Parvati.

Sources inform, popular names like Divyanka Tripathi, Samiksha Singh, and Aasiya Kazi were approached to play the role but ultimately Sonarika was finalized. Parvati's entry will be telecast in the second week of June.

Now that Sati aka Mouni Roy’s part has come to an end in Life OK’s highly popular Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, the show makers are facing a new struggle.

Well, it is definitely not TRPs which are worrying them as the show is pretty much earning good numbers. But what has caused sleepless nights to them is the task of finding a perfect face that can play the role of Parvati. Buzz has it that team has approached many of the actresses for the said role.

Sources say that Divyanka Tripathy, who is currently seen in Comedy Circus, Aasiya Kazi who was in Imagine's Dharampatni , Suhasi Dhami aka Abha  from Zee TV's Yaha Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli,  and Pooja Bose have been shortlisted to play the important character.

When Suhasi was asked about the same, she rubbished the news and said that she hasn’t been approached for the role. Producer Nikhil Sinha too denied the news of approaching Suhasi and also told -" We have approached many known faces but nothing has been confirmed yet."

Meanwhile, Aasiya confirmed the news of being approached but said that nothing has been finalized. Well, this is indeed a task and given the fact how Mouni had justified her role as Sati, we guess the makers would surely have to face a tough time getting the right one on board!

The popular mythological show of Life OK, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev based on the eternal love saga of Shiv and Sati has successfully completed its 100 episodes.

But with the recent track of Shiv (Mohit Raina) and Sati's (Mouni Roy) marriage, the schedule became so hectic that the actors could not manage a proper celebration. However the makers of the show, Nikhil and Suhana Sinha escaped out of the situation and threw a party at their house.

Elated with the show’s success, Suhana talked to the sources and shared, “The experience was really great. But the highlight of it was that the cast made it to the party at around 2 am, after their pack-up. We cut a cake which was followed by dinner. I must admit we all had a great time.”

Talking about the future tracks of the show, she shared, “Shiv’s story is never ending. As of now, we have just started the Sati phase, after this we would show the Parvati phase, so the audiences will surely get to see a lot of interesting things in the future.”

The love story of Shiv and Sati, which is known to be the first love story of the world, is loved and adored by people all age groups. Now the buzz is that Shalini chachi aka Hetal Yadav of Imagine TV’s Haar Jeet has done lots of efforts to add more entertainment to this love story through her dance.

Yes! You heard it right; the actress has a hidden talent of dancing. In fact she is a good choreographer and has proved it in many of dance performances given by the on-screen Shiv and Sati, Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy respectively.  

When asked Hetal, she confirmed the news and said, “I have choreographed the Ardhangini act by Shiv and Sati and also the performance after Chandra Dev gets life”.

The actress is indeed a good dancer and when quizzed about her experience of working with the production house of Mahadev, she added, “It was a great experience working for the show. I am extremely passionate about dancing and I will continue doing shows in the future”.

Well, it’s very surprising to know about such versatility of the television actress and is a matter of pride too.
