Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani fame Sukirti Khandpal is now all set to woo her fans as the modern and uber cool Jazz in Zee TV’s upcoming show Rab Se Sona Ishq, produced by Jay Mehta.

As known, the show is loosely based on Bollywood flick Namaste London starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif where Sukirti is said to be reprising Kat’s role. It is interesting to note that the Nainital girl has so far done quite substantial roles in shows like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Dill Mill Gaye and PKYEK. In her career so far, Sukirti has stayed away from saas-bahu sagas and even after the end of PKYEK, she chose to make her comeback in a modern avatar.

When asked about the reason behind doing Rab Se Sona Ishq, she said, "I don't have anything against saas bahu sagas, but at the moment I want to wear lots of western clothes, flaunt my curly hair and go to London. I think these are my three demands”.

She even feels that playing the lead in a daily isn’t an easy task, as per her, "I consciously decided to take up something which is extremely light and doesn't involve mental and physical stress. When you are playing a lead on a daily soap, a lot of mental and emotional work goes in to it since you have to look real”.

As reported earlier, the makers of Star Plus’ extremely popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon are coming up with their new show on Zee TV very soon. As the production house is only running with love stories, it has finally decided to diversify from the ongoing league.

The upcoming show by the Four Lions Productions will be based on crime and thriller. The show will be aired on Zee TV. And the latest buzz is that Karan Singh Grover, who rose to fame with his popular portrayal of Dr. Armaan on Star One's Dill Mill Gayye, has been approached to play a pivotal role in the upcoming TV series by Four Lions.

When sources got in touch with Nisar Parvez, the producer of the show said-"It's too early to talk about the show."  On the other side when spoke to Gorki one of the producers of the show, he confirmed the news saying, "We have approached many known faces and yes Karan Singh Grover is one of them."

Well, we hope Karan will soon be finalized for the role.

Shilpa Anand is still loved and remembered by all fans as Dr. Riddhima from Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye.  Though she was later replaced by many of the actresses in town but even today people see her as Riddhima.

Ever since DMG, Shilpa has been missing from the screens and when the pretty lady was asked as to what she has been up to, she said, “I have completed the shoot of the film Bloody Ishq which is being directed by Arup Bhatt. We have shot in the locales of Bangkok, and it was a very good experience. My other film Alert 24/7 which has a huge cast comprising of Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Kabir Bedi, Raveena Tandon and Ruslaan Mumtaz is also underway. I will be finishing the shoot by May. It’s a political film and we have shot in Goa and Mumbai. This movie is also due for a September release”.

On being probed about the much talked about Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget wedding, she stated, “I am very happy for them. During Dill Mill Gayye days, they used to hide from one and all and roam around. Their closeness was very obvious, but I guess they were waiting for the right time. Karan and Jennifer are very similar to each other, and are compatible. I wish them all the very best for their future.”

This year we saw many of the TV actors taking the plunge and the number seems to be just going up. Post the much awaited and talked about low-profile wedding of heartthrobs Karan Singh Grover aka Dr. Armaan and Jennifer Winget aka Riddhima, more TV stars have tied the auspicious knot.

And surprisingly, like Kajen, these couples too preferred to go for the hush-hush wedding rather than beating the drums out. Most recently, it was the gorgeous Shveta Salve who walked the aisle with beau of three years at a private ceremony in Goa.    

Not only her, even actor Nishant Shokeen, last seen as Kanha in Choti Bahu, tied knot with Ashneet Kaur in a secret affair in US, on 23 April 2012. Well, this was all about the ones who have culminated their relation into wedding.  However, we have a few more names who are yet to take the plunge in the coming months.

Prasad Barve, famously known for his character in Dill Mill Gayye, will also get married in a private affair. Prasad got engaged to his sweetheart Priti recently and he will marry her on 15 June 2012. While addressing the sources, Prasad said, “Yes, I will have a traditional wedding. It will take place at Pune and will be a low key affair with a few close friends and family in attendance. No celebrity has been invited, but once I am back in town I plan to throw a big party.”

We just hope that all of them lead a blissful married life!

Soul mates, two halves of the same soul joining together in life’s journey and now this is going to be true for our very own Dill Mill Gayye fame Dr. Armaan aka Karan Singh Grover and Dr. Riddhima aka Jennifer Winget, who as informed earlier too, will tie the auspicious knot on 9th April 2012.

The preparations for the wedding has been going since quite few days, however, as confirmed by the sources, the marriage is going to be simple without much pomp and show. KSG, who was earlier married to Shraddha Nigam and later got divorced will tie knot with Jennifer in Mumbai only. The love birds will get married at a Gurudwara and will later throw a small house party.

When contacted Jas Singh Grover (brother of KSG) he confirmed the news and said, “Yes, they are getting married in Mumbai. It won’t be a lavish affair and they will marry in a court. Furthermore, it will be a simple and small event and our close friends and family members will be present to bless the duo.”

Well, we are sure that fans must have felt a bit of disappointment hearing to this low profile wedding of one of their favorite reel couples but then jab Dulha-Dulhan razi to kya karega Kazi.

Buzz has it that the Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye fame couple, Dr. Armaan aka Karan Singh Grover and Dr. Riddhima aka Jennifer Winget have been in a relation since long and now the two are considering tying the knots. Rumors about their love life has been making round ever since they paired up in DMG. However, each time, we heard the couple rubbishing all such sayings.

Of late, their couple entry during the pre-wedding bash of TV stars Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali too had created a stir in town. But as ever, they managed to escape the paparazzi leaving all to guess as to what exactly is brewing between them. Now, on one hand when we are hearing of Jennifer returning to the world of fiction shows with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s maiden show for Star Plus, this wedding news certainly comes as a shocker.

However, as of yet there has been no official confirmation made about the speculated wedding, which if believe the sources is to take place within two-three weeks.
