Weak performance and dipping TRP places Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat under scanner
The speculations have already been high regarding the performance given by Colors’ thrill and suspense based show Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat.
It was said earlier too that the show isn’t bagging good numbers and is constantly dipping. As a result now the channel Colors has placed the show under the scanner. The show makers have tried best to incorporate various twists and turns to keep their audience glued to their seats, but they seemed to have failed in the task. The show has seen a downward slide in the TRPs which has been a cause of constant worry for the production house.
Show starring Hunar Hali as Aditi and Avinesh Rekhi as Kabir Jaiswal also failed to impress the audience by their developing chemistry. The reason of dipping ranking is its multiple twists and turns which has been creating confusion and public losing their interest from the inconstant storyline.
Hope CVs can play some original Chhal and Sheh soon bring its numbers back.

Before landing her face into television world, Sana Amin Sheikh was famous for her voice on Radio Mirchi 98.3 while hosting the show Khubsurat Sana. But she has some different dreams in her eyes; she wanted to be an actor since childhood.
She began acting as a child artist and played the role of young Savi in Hasratein on Zee TV, and started her career of acting in tellywood successfully. She has worked in so many daily soaps like Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Jeet Jayenge Hum, and Mera Naam Karegi Roshan.

Something out of the blue is waiting to happen with lead protagonist Simar (Deepika Samson) of Sasural Simar Ka, a highly classy drama on Colors.
The cat fight of Khushi (Jyotsna Chandola) and Simar is dawning on the level of inhumanity, where Khushi is not thinking of anything but to ruin Simar’s life completely.
Till now viewers have seen that both parties are trying to win over the other, but now Khushi has lost out of anger on Simar and would plan to kill her. According to the current plot it has seen that the members of the Bharadwaj family gear up to celebrate Simar's birthday and Simar and Roli (Avika Gor) are hell-bent on exposing Khushi's truth in front of the entire family.
But the air of celebration will vanish when the protagonist Simar's life will be in danger. We have heard that in order to seek revenge from Simar and Roli, Khushi will mix poison in sweets. After consuming these sweets, during the cake cutting, Simar will start feeling uneasy and will go unconscious.

Countdown over and it’s the day of release and theatres are bombarding with footfalls for Cocktail. But before you think that the reason is the marvelous script of Cocktail then shed the thought off.
Let us tell you that it’s just the same brouhaha, which was sweeping in air before the release and soon might get washed off when you will find that the expected essence of freshness is missing and it’s the same cocktail of love stories in new packet of famous actors.
Let’s begin with characters and no doubt with the sauciest one Deepika Padukone, but to all dismay, Dips is nothing else than a glam doll in the movie flaunting off her apparels and the moment she speaks she kills both her dialogues and impression together. Deepika disappoints with dreary acting skills. Saif Ali Khan who has posed young even after being almost double in the age to both contemporaries is somewhat comfortable in his skin but still fails to make a mark. But there is definitely some rawness and fresh sweep of air in Diana Penty who has carried off her character so well and in cool manner.
There are some bizarre moments in the film that will either tickle you for its irrelevance or would irritate you. To mention one of them is when Saif (Gautam) mistakes Deepika (Veronica) as Diana (Meera) just because she is mimicking her.
As far as music is concerned, Pritam seemed to have focused on just Tumhi Ho Bandhu and Daru Desi. The half part of movie is too glossy to scan details or feel connected and the rest one is too sulky to focus which is made sure that every song conveys the sadness after interval. The movie is a cocktail version of Love Aaj Kal and to some extent Indianite version of Friends.

Issues with Dubai shots land the cast and crew of Bade Acche Lagte Hain to India
One side the fans are enjoying the scenes of Dubai playing in Bade Acche Lagte Hain, even the fresh scenes and exotic locations are gaining numbers for the show.
On the other side the news we heard is little bothering as the team of Bade Acche Lagte Hain has been facing some shooting problems in Dubai, even their shoot in Dubai got stalled due to the issue getting serious.
The line producer in Dubai failed to get adequate permissions to shoot there, and once the episode shot in Dubai went on air, legal action was taken against the production house.
However, the entire team of Bade Acche Lagte Hain was questioned and cast and crew members are being deported to India now. And this apparently happened after Ekta Kapoor bailed the entire team out of the major trouble. Source informed that the cast and crew of the show were seen at the Dubai Airport.
The latest information that has coming is that the entire unit has got back to Mumbai, after embarking on the not-so-happening Dubai trip.

Burden of accusations breaks up Khushi completely in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon
Last we told you about Khushi (Sanaya Irani) leaving Rayzada house in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Owing to her nature of being selfless, it was assumed that she might have taken this decision to let Arnav (Barun Sobti) and Anjali (Daljeet Bhanot) get to heave a sigh of relief from the trouble around.
However, things came as a stern blow with yesterday’s episode where once again we saw Khushi’s prince turning into the evil monster. Yet again Arnav proved that the ASR in him can never change no matter what. After getting to know of Khushi meeting Anjali, despite being advised not to do that by Nani, Arnav couldn’t control his anger.
As usual he busted out all his anger on her and ended up saying heart breaking words, which were surely the outcome of his uncontrolled fury. While Khushi expressed her thoughts on feeling guilty over Anjali’s condition, Arnav instead of consoling her ended up accusing her more.
He blamed her for all the wrongs that have happened to him and his family and even called her presence in his life the reason behind all miseries. Not only this, he even went to the extent of stating that meeting Khushi has been the biggest mistake of his life. Well, this was enough to break her down completely as she never thought of being accused by the same person who had recently shown his full trust on her.
A devastated Khushi is now hell bent on leaving the house while it’s high time one will see Arnav regretting all the wrongs he did to Khushi.
It has to be seen if Arnav will be able to win her back!

Declared dead by doctors on 11 july 2012 in kokilaben dhirubhai ambani hospital in mumbai.Dara Singh was admitted to Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai on 7 July after he suffered cardiac attack and from the very first day Dara Singh was in critical condition. The 84-year-old was admitted to the hospital Saturday following a severe cardiac problem, which later led to a kidney malfunction.
He is also remembered for his portrayal of Hanuman in 1980s Ramanand Sagars TV series “Ramayan”.He is a good actor.In his prime, Dara Singh was a world-famous wrestler and won the title of “Rustam-e-Hind” for his prowess.

Finally the hunt has settled down, as the anchor for the biggest comedy show on television The Great Indian Laughter Challenge got finalized.
The most awaited sitcom series of laughter is ready to tickle down the funny bones but this time the frame of presentation is slightly changed, the pilot of the show would be Life OK and on seats of judges there would be three well known face from glamour industry, Singer Mika Singh, comedy actor Chunky Pandey and Shekhar Suman, who was also in the judgment panel last season.
The show is all set to wave its flag high, and latest we learned is that Ishita Sarkar, who was one among the finalists of the Femina Miss India 2009, has been finalized to host the show.
Buzz also states that several names were being considered to host the show, including the pretty and delicate Kritika Kamra. Earlier, host Parizaad Kolah Marshall became very popular for her stint on the show. But she was later replaced by Shonali Nagrani. Now it looks like the makers are favoring formal beauties as all of the three hosts are from same beauty fields.
This is surely the piece of cake for you Ishita.

Cocktail is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Homi Adajania under Saif Ali Khan's banner Illuminati Films.[1] The film stars Saif Ali Khan alongside Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in lead roles.[2][3][4] Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani and Randeep Hooda feature in supporting roles.[5] The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 13 July 2012.

But as three people living together they all have a blast… Though their intentions for each other don’t change, their friendship starts to grow strong. Meera decides to play along realizing that it's the mom's not the son's thats really like her, thinking of it as a fault in herself and refusing to discuss it with Gautam.Realizing the only escape from mommy dimple is running away, Saif declares that he and Meera have already planned a holiday in advance to which the mother shockingly decides to join in as well.Trip to South Africa then proves to be a life changing moment for the three of them, with Deepika realizing that she now wants to settle down and change her life, while Meera and Gautam realize that they both actually love each other.
This is then followed by an emotional song filled one hour with Veronica depressed on loosing Gautam, which she though initially, she would be able to do, Meera moving out and Gautam chasing her through the streets of London. Meera then meets and decides to play pretend with her real husband so that Gautam can go away. Veronica, going back to her old ways, starts to chronically drink again and is run over by a car.
Thus starts Saif battle of being a friend to veronica while trying to convince Meera that he can't let her go.Veronica finally realizes that she can never "emotionally blackmail" him into loving her so they go back to her husband's home to get Meera.On not finding her, Gautam completely loses his mind and beats Kunal blaming him for her loss and then himself. That's when Kunal confesses that during her stay with him he had changed his mind and wanted to put their divorce on hold to start a life with her to which she responds by saying she can only love Gautam and heads back to india. Gautam and Veronica, ofcourse, follow her to New Delhi where he proposes and the three are happy together again.

were signed on to play the leads in the film. Padukone was offered both
the roles of Veronica and Meera, however the character of Meera was
similar to her role in Love Aaj Kal and so she chose the role of Veronica as a new challenge.[7] Model Diana Penty makes her Bollywood entry with this film.[8]
Director Homi Adajania said Imran Khan was his first choice for this film which has Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and model Diana Penty. "Saif was not the first choice. Imran was supposed to do it but he was not sure if he wanted to do it at that point of a time," Adajania told IANS.[9]
Padukone has gyrated to an chinese party song at the The Grand nightclub in Clapham Junction, by dancing on a table. This is reminiscent of a dance sequence in the song Chor Bazaari from Love Aaj Kal. Whilst security was extra tight on the day to prevent outsiders entering the premises, a DJ was hired for the music and club lights were also used to make the scene look as real as possible.
On 24 May, 2012, "Tum Hi Ho Bandhu", sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Kavita Seth, was released. On 31 May 2012, another song "Daaru Desi", sung by Benny Dayal and Shalmali Kholgade, was released. Also, "Yaariyan" and "Second Hand Jawaani" were later released.

STORY
When 24-year-old Veronica (Deepika Padukone) and Meera (Diana Penty), 23, start living together during the summer in London, they have very different agendas. Director Homi Adajania said Imran Khan was his first choice for this film which has Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and model Diana Penty. "Saif was not the first choice. Imran was supposed to do it but he was not sure if he wanted to do it at that point of a time," Adajania told IANS.[9]
Filming
Shooting of the film started at the end of May 2011, in London. Many scenes have been shot indoors, although the crew primarily filmed on the streets of London. Locations of the filming in London include Borough High Street, Borough market, Portobello Road, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Mayfair, Clapham Junction, Battersea Park, Bank Station, St. Pauls London, Colville Gardens (Notting Hill Gate), and Brick Lane.[10] The film was also shot in Cape Town, South Africa.[11]Padukone has gyrated to an chinese party song at the The Grand nightclub in Clapham Junction, by dancing on a table. This is reminiscent of a dance sequence in the song Chor Bazaari from Love Aaj Kal. Whilst security was extra tight on the day to prevent outsiders entering the premises, a DJ was hired for the music and club lights were also used to make the scene look as real as possible.

Also, Angreji Beat (Punjabi song) sung by Gippy Grewal featuring Yo Yo Honey Singh, originally from Honey Singh's International Villager released in November 2011, will be used in the film.On 24 May, 2012, "Tum Hi Ho Bandhu", sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Kavita Seth, was released. On 31 May 2012, another song "Daaru Desi", sung by Benny Dayal and Shalmali Kholgade, was released. Also, "Yaariyan" and "Second Hand Jawaani" were later released.

Action, revelation and drama on its peak in Parichay
With this some nail biting episodes are about to come, where Siddhi will overhear Richa (Sonia Singh) talking to Rohit about meeting him at a place. Hence, she will decide to reach the venue, unaware of the fact that Rohit has called Richa at a red light area. Basically, it will be Rohit’s ploy to trap Siddhi. He will be aware that Siddhi is following them and plans the things to harm her in every aspect.
However, when Siddhi will reach the red light area, Rohit will call the cops. He will run away from the scene and try to push Siddhi towards danger. His plan would be to send Siddhi behind the bars. But Siddhi will also manage to flee from the scene, and in the entire drama, Richa will be held by the cops.
All the drama will take place between Rohit and Siddhi, and she will come out with a disappointment that she couldn’t hold the collar of Rohit. But there is one more sprain for the fans that somehow Vikram (Deepak Sandhu) will spot Rohit and get hold of him. He will inform Siddhi about Rohit’s capture and they both will drag him to the court.

We had already shared the cheerful news with our readers that Gumrah is back again with a fresh new season on Channel V.
Talking about the opening episode on Monday, it was based on AIDS. The story was liked by all and admiration is still coming the way of the show. However, with television heartthrob Karan Kundra playing host of the show, second tale will deal with the more appealing subject. In the coming episodes fans will get to see more famous faces. As heard Neil Bhatt, Aditi Tailang, Avinash Mukherjee and Kritika Kamra's younger brother Rahul Kamra would be seen in the episode.
This time the episode will revolve around a ragging case that took place in a medical college wherein a young boy committed suicide. The story is inspired from the infamous Aman Kachroo and several other ragging cases.
Producer Vikas Gupta has basically wanted to give lesson to the youth that the monkey business they are doing without knowing the further effects can spoil anyone’s life or even put him/her at the stage of death. The most talkative topic of youth in India happens to be ragging and the real stories will showcase in the show to give a better line to our young generation.
This particular episode will be aired on Wednesday (11th & 12th July 2012).
Ranbir Kapoor is a chilled out guy, says Sumona Chakravarti

Well, Sumona has done something which is a dream of every young girl, to work with original rockstar of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor. But the 24-year-old girl says she wasn’t star struck while sharing the frame with him in the movie, but was definitely impressed with his “chilled out” attitude.
“I play Ileana’s friend in the movie. It’s a small, cute little part, but I have shared screen space with both RK and Ileana. It was fantastic to work with Ranbir; he never made me feel as though I was someone he didn’t know. He was at ease interacting with everyone, which was great”, states the actress who is best recognized by her role of Natasha Kapoor in Sony’s Bade Ache Lagte Hain.
She added, “Actually, I am a person who is not star struck by any actor. If anyone asks me, Who is your favorite male star? I usually have nothing to say! So it was the same with RK. He is a chilled out guy, very regular and very normal in attitude. We used to chit chat on the sets and have tea while shooting in Darjeeling… it was a good atmosphere.”

Aishwarya Sakhuja clears the air about Saas Bina Sasural

Just a day back we had told you that Aishwarya Sakhuja’s less working hours made the makers think of getting in a new face for Tej aka Ravi Dubey. Owing to which first it was Mahi Vij who was roped in but later it was Rubina Dilaik of Choti Bahu fame who managed to bag the role.
Sources even said that the CVs have planned a track for the show wherein they will show Toasty aka Aishwarya suffering from cancer and counting her death days. However, putting an end to all the rumors floating around, Aishwarya has come clear with the facts. She said, “I am not quitting the show at all. I am very much a part of it and will remain in the future. Yes, Rubina is entering but no one will come between Tej and Toasty. I also learnt about a cancer track about me, but that is irrelevant. Nothing of those sorts will unfold”.
Talking of Rubina, she said that her character’s name will be Smiley, a Punjabi girl who will be Toasty’s childhood friend. She will be bubbly, chirpy and spread a positive aura in the Chaturvedi family.
