Whoa TV buffs…we have got some chatpata bit of information. Our sources have informed that there is a certain someone in Drashti Dhami’s life. Who is the lucky man? Well…read on…
Well, according to our source the lead girl of Colors’ show Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (produced by Nautanki Telefilms) is seeing NRI businessman, Neeraj Khemka, since the past two years. Neeraj is now settled in Mumbai.
There is even a buzz that they might go ahead to tie the knot next year (2013). However, when we spoke to Dhrashti she denied being involved with Neeraj and said there, “is no one in her life.”
She also laughed off the marriage buzz.
Now, to dig deep, we also got in touch with Neeraj. “I know Dhrasthi well but we have not been meeting since she is quite busy with her shooting. We are good friends but there is nothing of marriage or anything of that sort in the pipeline.”
Furthermore, our sources also revealed that Neeraj was “unhappy” with Drashti and Gurmeet Choudhary’s chemistry in Geet (Star One) and apparently, Drashti even refused to enact a kissing scene because of Neeraj’s reservations. When we broached the same topic with Neeraj he got edgy and said, “I will not say anything because you guys will print what u want. I don’t want to talk further as I am working.”
Fair enough…When we called up again to check Drashti’s version, she got upset and said, “Where and whom are you calling up? Stop harassing people around me. I will not let you enter my set next time.”
Hmm…someone is miffed. But as they say, there’s never smoke without fire. After all ishq ka junoon chupaye nahin chupta. Have a great time ahead, Drashti!!!

Ravi Kissen is eliminated from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Saturdays are definitely sad days on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Colors), as every week, one contestant gets eliminated from the show.
It’s Saturday again and the eliminated contestant this week is none other than Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kissen.
Last week, Ravi did not score well neither did he manage to get good votes. Hence, he will be moving out of the house tonight.
However the actor is not all unhappy about all this as he tells us, “I am very happy. In fact, I wanted to get eliminated this week as I had pending work. My film projects were left hanging mid-way. I have already started shooting for my Bollywood projects and I will get back to Bhojpuri cinema sometime next month.”
Additionally, the actor is thankful to Jhalak… as he got to learn a lot as well as lose five and a half kilos as a result of dancing, “I have lost five and a half kilos and learnt a lot of dancing, hence it was overall a good experience. Moreover, I got to spend quality time with my family in these two and a half months since being completely attached to Jhalak…, I used to dwindle between the sets and home which is not the routine I follow due to my shooting schedules.”
We wish him luck with his future projects.

Jasveer Kaur talks about her long stint with CID

Jasveer Kaur, the talented actress is looking for her next challenging project on television after she opted out of the longest running show on Sony Entertainment Television, CID. Jasveer was part of this Fireworks Productions show for two years.
Talking about her stint with CID, Jasveer says, “I have got appreciated for my cop’s role in CID. Few of my fans have told me that I am the best female cop on TV. Kids have loved the way I usually slapped criminals. The best part of the show was that since I was always dressed in jeans and t-shirts, I hardly needed time to get dressed up; in fact I used to shoot with my own jeans at t-shirt at times. Apparently my jacket or corset that I used to wear had become a rage among teenagers. I have also heard that young girls used to ape my color rubber bands.”
So if all was well, why leave CIDCID long back, when I was doing K Street Pali Hill, but had declined the offer as I could not leave Ekta Kapoor’s show.”
Ask her what’s next as it has been more than six months since she left CID, and she states, “Frankly speaking, not many would have got to know that I have left CID as repeat episodes keep airing on TV. You are the first media person to ask me about my next project, so hopefully someone from the industry would make a note of it and approach me for something new. For the moment, I am enjoying walking the ramp (latest was INIFD Fashion Show with Nisha Harale in Chandigarh).”

Dipika Samson and Shoaib Ibrahim engulfed in flames of love

Forget the Olympics, for the real game is on between Dipika Samson and Shoaib Ibrahim. The media did report a lot about the alleged “closeness” between Dipika and Shoaib who play the leads in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Sunrise Productions). It was also reported that Dipika was engulfed in love flames and went ahead to file for divorce with husband Raunak Mehta. Raunak is a pilot by profession.
Now, reports are not clear whether Dipika and Raunak are officially separated or not, but our sources have informed that Dipika has moved out of her conjugal life and is currently staying with her mother at Mira Road, Mumbai.
And the spice is that Dipika and Shoaib are head over heels in love with each other.
On the sets, Dipika and Shoaib always linger around together. Even if Dipika doesn’t have a shooting schedule, she prefers staying on the sets in order to be around her beau, Shoaib.
“They stay aloof, separated and on their own even when we hold meetings and group discussions,” the source went on to say.
Like true lovebirds, they always take care of each other. Dipika keeps a notice whether Shoaib has had food or not; or the kind of dresses he is wearing, both on and off screen.
Hmm…quite interesting. No wonder the duo has a superb romantic chemistry on-screen as well.
We got in touch with Shoaib who said, “I have a very good bonding with Abhishek Sharma (one of the co stars) too. But then some people just like creating gossip out of nothing. The one, who has told you this, about us, definitely does not have much to do in life.”
“We do come on the sets on our off days as there are times when I have to show my family the shooting or Dipika has a friend who wants to see shooting. Apart from that we also have our look tests on certain days. We are good friends and we will stay that way. These rumours will not affect our friendship,” he ended.
Dipika on the other hand remained unavailable for comment.
Well…it seems things are going steady and pretty comfy between Dipika and Shoaib. We wish them a love-filled year ahead!!!

KBC 6 slated to telecast by August end or by September 2012

Game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, to be hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan yet again, will be back in its prime time slot, channel officials said Tuesday.
“It will be a prime time show. I can’t tell you the exact slot because we are in discussion we are brain storming the right time. But certainly it will be a prime time slot,” Sony Entertainment Television (SET) senior vice president and marketing head Danish Khan told IANS.
“We have not decided the days but the talks are on. We will soon make an official announcement,” he added.
KBC had been slotted for either 8.30 or 9 p.m. time band so far.
The channel Thursday announced yet another marketing and communication campaign “Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dila Sakta Hai” as the communication theme for the upcoming season of the game show.
“The challenge was how do we take the philosophy to the next level. We came up with ‘Gyaan hi aapko aapka haq dilata Hai’ because it’s a great factor to empower people. When you see the show you will see shades of that,” said Khan.
“One of the most important part of the show is how we democratise the entire KBC. We have taken immense pain with lot of pleasure to ensure that we expand the base of KBC. Every time you are going to see KBC episode, you will see a small India.”
Big B, who has been hosting various seasons of KBC for quite some time, will be seen again for the KBC 2012 as well. Khan says they can’t think of anyone else in his place.
“There is absolutely nobody like Mr Bachchan. His appeal transcends across all the age groups. He can relate and connect with people of all backgrounds. His command over the language – Hindi, English and many other local language, his humility and sincerity these are the factors that drives his popularity.”
“And that brings immense popularity to our show. People are eager to watch him again on KBC. I can’t think of anybody else.”
KBC 2012 is slated to telecast by August end or by September.

Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai to be aired from 13th August 2012

Tellybuzz had exclusively reported about SAB TV’s new show by Optymistix Productions, in which Swapnil Joshi has been roped in to play the main lead. The show has been titled as Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai. The latest we hear that the show is going to be on air from 13th August onwards which will take the 8 pm slot.
The show is going to bring back the same humor and chaos of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s original Golmaal. With the veteran actors like Tiku Talsania and Apra Mehta, the viewers can expect a unique comedy. Swapnil Joshi was thus the right choice to play the main lead in it. He plays cupid in the lives of the people in 3D’s (3D here is the family of Dhanwantrilal Dhyanchand Dholakia) household and at the same time he tries to win the heart of his love interest Dhwani Dholakia, who is 3D’s niece; to be played by Mugdha Chapekar.
The show will replace Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother !!! from 13th August.

Porn actress Sunny Leone, who debuted in Bollywood with Jism 2, is indebted to the audiences for giving such a warm response to her debut, and added that she could not have got a better platform to showcase her talent.

Recently while present at the event, she said, “Well, I am very excited, I am so happy, that there are so many people watching this movie, and they have been so positive. The fans are coming out, watching movies, spending their hard earned money on this ticket to watch this movie, and they have been so nice.”

“My experience in Bollywood has been absolutely amazing, I know I will be busy in this country for a while, and I am looking forward to everything that comes with it, and being in India. I think Jism 2 was the greatest platform that I could have started my career with and it’s definitely given me a lot of exposure in a positive way,” she added.

First-time producer and Bollywood actor Dino Morea said that producers go through a lot of trouble while making a movie, adding that his respect for their community has increased manifold after facing a lot of hardships.

Khushi gets caught in her own words in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon

Khushi (Sanaya Irani) and problems can never stay apart and this has once again been proved in the recent episodes of Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.

However, this time the problem is not a scary one as it is all filled of love and the spiciness of it. As seen last, the whole family at Rayzada house is busy preparing for Janmashtami. While they all were doing their respective tasks, NK (Karan Goddwani) out of curiosity ended up asking about the importance of the day and how Lord Krishna and Radha were related to each other. This is when Nani explained the facts behind and told him how the love of Krishna and Radha stands to be above all the rules and norms of the world.

She even stated how the wedding rituals play a vital role in strengthening the bond further. As Khushi heard it all, she realized that though she and Arnav (Barun Sobti) are living as husband and wife but they haven’t had any of the rituals done. She then confronts Arnav on the same and tells him how the rituals are so important without which they can never be fully a married couple.

Playing his witty self, Arnav makes Khushi talk of all the rituals followed and this is when she accidentally ends up mentioning of the wedding night. Well, the flirty side of Arnav gets stuck to this and he advises her that they will indeed go through all the rituals but will start in the reverse order.

Khushi, who hadn’t expected such a response from Arnav, is all scared while he on the other end is enjoying teasing her to the core. Meanwhile, amidst the light hearted acts, Dadi will yet again question about Shyam (Abhaas Mehta), which will irk Arnav and he will be about to spit the truth out.

Will he will be able to tell Dadi about the same? Or we have yet another surprise in store? Let’s see what happens to Khushi now!

Young actor Dishank Arora is also one of the actors, waiting to get a chance to play leading roles. But unfortunately for him, he has been offered roles where he plays the younger sibling of the male lead.

One can notice him playing younger brother of Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) in Punar Vivah; the actor has again been featured to play, in the same production house’s show on Life OK Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, younger brother to Arjun (Sudeep Sahir).

“Yes, I play the role of Pratik in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s Punar Vivah on Zee TV where I am the younger brother of Yash, and again, on Life OK Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, I play younger brother to Arjun. I would love to do a lead role, but guess I look quite young when it comes to my look.” avers the actor.

But it doesn’t mean the actor was never approached to play lead, Dishank informed, “Actually I had been offered lead roles in recently concluded shows such as Tum Dena Saath Mera on Life OK and Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony. Somehow, things did not work out then.”

Esha Gupta doesn't compare herself with Bipasha Basu

Coming together of two sexy actresses in the same frame is bound to fetch attention from everyone around, not for their work but terms off screen.

And the current talks are going on for Esha Gupta and Bong beauty Bipasha Basu. It is notable that post making her debut in town with Jannat 2, Esha is now gearing up for the thrilling Raaz 3 where she gets to share screen space with Emraan Hashmi and Bips. While people might feel that Esha is wary of Bips’ presence in the film but the former denies it completely.

Esha says, “I am pretty confident and I know where I am today. I don't want to compare myself with Bipasha. Even when we are sharing screen space, the only thing that I make sure is that I don't lack anywhere”. Though she admits sharing screen space with established actors like Emraan and Bipasha did put some pressure on her.

"I had pressure on me as Bipasha and Emraan are great actors but apart from that I didn't care so much because Bipasha is Bipasha and the whole country recognizes her. I still get shocked when people start recognizing me," she said.

She added, "For me, it (Raaz 3) was one of the best films to work in. It was a conscious effort to do this. Of course, I had pressure as I was not sure whether I will be able to pull it”.

We must say, Star Plus’ upcoming telefilm series Teri Meri Love Stories is enough to cover the whole media gossips these days, as the project making in every next headline and gaining media bites.

Famous faces and talented production houses are teaming up to make every story a hit on screen and entertain the audience at its maximum. Some of the producers are assigning the heart throb actors to collect attention, while other side some are going over the countries to shoot its story.

Well, guys we are talking about the Cinevistaas Production house, which has just completed a short film with Karan Singh Grover and Anita Hassanandani and is all set to shoot it’s another short film on the same series.

Buzz states that producer and director have decided to shoot the next in the beautiful locale of Macau. The short film is a love story based on a Honeymoon sequence of a couple. And speaking about the casting of this short film than Shaheer Sheikh popularly known as Anant of Navya has been finalized to play main lead and Mahhi Vij who was last seen in Colors’ Laagi Tujse Lagan will play the female lead in the telefilm.

Producer Venita Coelho confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am at Macau for the recce. Shaheer and Mahhi Vij will be playing leads in the telefilm”.

Hope the story will impress the audience.

Off screen comfort is what makes Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani perfect on screen

It’s not that television world hasn’t seen love stories or the Mills and Boons drama earlier; in fact such romantic tales have always scored over the regular saas-bahu drama.

Be it the love-hate tales like Kutumb, Kitni Mohabbat Hai, Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai or the purely love based dramas such as Geet Hui Sabse Parayi or Dil Mill Gayye, they all have left a mark in the hearts of all and people still talk of the leads’ chemistry from these shows.

However, one is left all stunned wondering as to why Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Rayzada and Sanaya Irani aka Khushi from Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon have turned out to be so exceptionally well as a couple on screen. The show, which has completed more than a year now, is growing leaps and bounds. The unique love tale of the arrogant business tycoon Arnav and that of the chirpy and vivacious Khushi has won hearts across the globe. Fortunately, this is one show which has even gained popularity on international grounds.

While the makers Four Lions indeed deserve accolade for the same but one can’t deny the fact that the success of IPKKND is more due to the sizzling on screen chemistry between Barun and Sanaya. People in town are in complete awe of these two as a jodi and their scenes together turn out to be a treat for all. Whether they romance or fight, there is something in their chemistry which sets it apart from all.

And guess here we know what makes them so perfect on screen. Barun Sobti says that it is majorly because of the brilliant rapport they share off screen. Both of them are extremely comfortable with each other and this is what reflects in their on screen acts too. Their compatibility plays a vital role in bringing perfection to their on screen stint.

Not only Barun, the makers too agree on the same and feel that the actors being simple and modest in approach do full justice to their respective roles. Their simplicity and dedication to work is what working fine for this TV jodi. And we hope it continues to do so.

It’s time for some happy moments in Cinevistaas’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus as the story will now focus on Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) getting engaged to Virat (Kushal Tandon).

Last we had updated you how Dadaji (Deep Dhillon) came down to Hrishikesh with family to finalize the alliance of Maanvi and Virat, where soon they will have a Roka ceremony happening.

Buzz now states that post the Roka ceremony; the two families will decide to prepare for Maanvi and Virat’s ‘Sagaai’. Of course, this will call for huge celebration, full of fun, masti, dance and music during the engagement. All will be seen in a happy mood after they accept Maanvi in spite of her suffering from cancer. The engagement sequence is to take place in Chandigarh.

Amidst all, Swamini (Seema Kapoor) will be shown upset with the alliance, but will have to go with the flow and be with her family in the decision.

Actor Kushal Tandon confirmed the news saying, “Yes, Virat has stood his ground and has won against all odds. He has convinced his family to accept Maanvi, and now Virat and Maanvi are excited about their engagement.”

One can truly not forget Sana Khan’s short but quite impressive stint on Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, where the highly polished Lavanya Kashyap played a key role in getting her Chamkili aka Khushi (Sanaya Irani) and ASR aka Arnav (Barun Sobti) closer.

She might not be a part of the daily anymore but soon we will get to see her back on the tube. As reported Four Lions’ has now come up with a biweekly show Arjun set to premiere its first episode this weekend on Star Plus. Sana in the show will play a cop alongside Arjun played by Shaleen Malhotra!

Talking of the same, she says, “Fans always ask me to come back in Iss Pyaar… which according to me, is not possible. In fact I would say, Lavanya is back but not in Iss Pyaar Ko… she is back with Arjun as Ria. So accordingly, this is a return of Lavanya in the form of Ria.”

She further talked of her role, “I will essay Ria, a cop, a researcher, who is exactly contrasting to what I am in real life. I was surprised when I was offered this role at the first place. My producers said that I have to play a cop and do stunts to which I was shocked instead of being happy. But till now, I haven’t used any duplicate and have done all the stunts on my own”.

The audience of Mahadev has been eagerly waiting to witness the most talked about wedding of the recent times that is of Shiv and Parvati (Sonarika Bhadoria). Hence, the makers (Triangle Film Company) are not leaving any stone unturned to make it a big success.

As seen last, Mahadev’s ‘baraat’ reached the palace of Parvati but his weird get-up shocked each and every person present including Maina (Shilpa Tulaskar) and Nani (Suhasini Mulay).

Mahadev then offered his snake as a ‘shagun’ to Maina after which she fainted. Mahadev’s weird get up as a groom and his strange behavior made Maina and Nani to re-consider the decision of Parvati marrying him. Therefore, Maina went ahead and asked Parvati not to wed Mahadev because of his strangeness. But Parvati tells Maina that she will try to convince Shiv to dress up well.

Accordingly, Parvati will convince Shiv to deck up aptly and Vishnu will help her in the process. Finally, on the D-day Shiv will be beautifully dressed and Maina will happily agree to the union.
