Comedy Circus to not go off air as Indian Idol will get a new timeslot on sony tv
It has been nearly half a decade since Sony Entertainment Television’s Kahaani Comedy Circus Ki has been tickling the funny bone of the audiences as the show first aired on 2007.
However, earlier it was reported that the show is all set to bid adieu in May-June to make way for the sixth season of singing reality show, Indian Idol. But here we have some news that will surely bring a smile to your faces.
Little birdie informed that the creative of the channel and the producer, in a recent meeting, decided to continue with the show. Producer Vipul Shah confirmed the reported as he said, “Everyone knows that Comedy Circus is a brand in itself. According to the broadcasters and also as per GRPs, the show has always done wonders. Therefore, instead of giving a break to Comedy Circus the channel decided to continue with Comedy Circus.”
The new season of this comedy show would be airing on the same time as it does currently and Indian Idol will air on a different time slot. Comedy Circus will surely be retained till December 2012.
We are sure the Comedy Circus lovers must be elated to hear the news!
Rozlyn Khan takes up Blood Bath for a cause
We have often come across celebs rendering their full support in safeguarding animals through their promotional acts run under the guidance of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
Time and again these high profile celebs have raised their voice and have donned different avatars for spreading the right message. And the new one to add glory to it is model Rozlyn Khan. The damsel is up for a cause and is trying her best to spread awareness among the masses.
It is notable that last month in March, Rozlyn went topless to spread awareness about breast cancer. Moving on with her good work, she is now promoting PETA by taking a bath in blood-colored water. Her cause, as heard, is to protect animals from being guinea pigs for cosmetic companies. The backdrop reads: 'Don't Buy While Animals Die. Choose Cruelty-Free Cosmetics’.
Updating all about her campaign, Rozlyn said, "Testing cosmetics and household products on animals hurts animals and does nothing to protect consumers. With so many top quality, cruelty-free products to choose from, there's no reason to buy from companies that still harm rabbits and poison mice."
Rozlyn's publicity has even helped her get a film called Dhamaal Chowkadi. While campaigning for awareness of breast cancer, she had also shot a video representing the need of a scheduled breast test for keeping a track of cancer. She even stated that in future she’d love to join an NGO to take the breast cancer awareness campaign to a superior level.

Hate Story’ movie review
‘Hate Story’ movie review
Yes you read it right. As much as the PR agency of the film would like us to believe, Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘Hate Story’ falls miserably short of being called an erotic thriller. The film is a revenge saga and to put it simply lacks logic.
Damsel seeks revenge and for some reason takes up the profession of a prostitute to get to her enemy. No logic given behind the sudden transformation, but Kavya decides that sleeping with important men is the only way to get through her ultimate enemy, Devaiah.
Even though revenge sagas are not new to Hindi cinema, the premise still held some promise. But sadly due to a weak and prolonging script, the viewers are left bored. For those who are eager to know about whether there are bold scenes or not, well, most scenes are just merely suggestive. There is lot panting, sighing, huffing which just plain suggests lot of action between the sheets but that’s all.
Bengali actress Paoli Dam may titillate you with her bare back in the posters but will leave you unimpressed with a performance which lacks any kind of spark. Nikhil Dwivedi, who plays Paoli friend in the movie, just remains in the background. The baddie of the film, Gulshan Devaiah is perhaps the only actor in the film who gives a convincing performance.
A weak script and weak performance makes this film an ordinary revenge tale. Pitty, considering the way it was being marketed, it could have turned out be a bold erotic thriller and perhaps changed the thriller genre in the industry. But that would be asking for a lot!
Ratings: Two cheers for this one!
Neil is a very good option, claims Ameesha Patel
It has been a long time that Ameesha Patel has been missing from the silver screen but now, as we had informed earlier, she will be back with her film Shortcut Romeo.
The movie directed by Susi Ganeshan features Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead role. But the latest news making way is that Ameesha and her business partner Kunal Goomer are seriously considering signing Neil for one of their two forthcoming films.
"Neil is a very good option," says Ameesha, "Let's see how things unravel. He's a good friend and will be right for our project. He is an easy actor to consider because of his versatility. He can play the innocent boy-next-door or a rascal. Thanks to his fair skin and light hair, he can play a character from overseas but can also do the rustic character very well."
The Neil-Ameesha friendship grew on the sets of Shortcut Romeo, which Ameesha describes as a "Heavy film, a suspense thriller in which the two characters are constantly trying to be one up on each other. It is like a game of chess. Just as you think you know what's going to happen, one character does something totally different."
Hopefully your comeback film will make you taste the success once again after KNPH and Gadar!
Shahrukh to be seen as criminal while Juhi as a judge in their first commercial
It has been informed already that, popular onscreen duo Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla, who in the past have created magic on silver screen with movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr, Yes Boss and Duplicate, are set to recreate their magic in a television commercial.
And now we have come up with more updates on the same. Scripted and directed by Kabir Sadanand, the ad is a sequel to the last edition of the Matrix Forex TV commercial.
Set in a courtroom, the ad shows Shahrukh Khan as a criminal and Juhi as a judge. Last they were seen together in 2008 film Bhootnath and this is said to be their first commercial together. Both of them became business partners with Dreamz Unlimited before Shahrukh Khan took it over in 2004 and made it Red Chillies Entertainment.
Now Shah Rukh, Juhi and her husband Jai Mehta are co-owners of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. Set to be aired soon, the advertisement also features cricketers Brett Lee, Yusuf Pathan and Brendon McCullum.
It would be real fun to watch the two great actors together after long time and that too first time for a commercial!
Ranbir Kapoor bought himself a new Audi A8, his most expensive car till date
We have often talked about tinsel town stars’ penchant for luxury cars and Ranbir Kapoor is the latest celebrity to add a cool set of hot wheels to the garage. The actor just bought himself a new Audi A8, which is also his most expensive car till date.
Buzz says that the vehicle was ordered by Ranbir almost eight months ago and it finally arrived at his house a couple of days back. This is his second car belonging to the same brand. The earlier one is a sports version.
Sources inform that Ranbir, who has just returned from Manali after shooting for Ayan Mukerji's next film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, was thrilled to finally set his eyes on the new car, which is white in colour. Ranbir headed straight to the temple to seek blessings for his new set of wheels and his mother was the lucky lady who accompanied him on the car's maiden ride.
"Ranbir is very religious. As a ritual he always takes his cars to the temple to seek blessings and this time was no different. He drove to a nearby temple along with the special lady in his life, his mommy Neetu. Rishi Kapoor is currently shooting abroad," says the source.
