Colors’ one of the longest running shows Uttaran successfully managed its first inning but now it is trying hard to collect numbers in second inning.
However, with some interesting turns in the upcoming episodes viewers will see Tapasya’s daughter Mukta aka Sreejita De accepting uttaran from Ichcha’s daughter Meethi aka Tina Dutta. As we know, Ichcha in childhood was being offered the discarded clothes (uttaran) of rich girl Tapasya.
We hear that there is a dance competition cum party organized in the college. Since it is a couple dance competition, Meethi who has started liking Aman (Gaurav S Bajaj) would want to dance with him. On the other hand, Aman who has fallen for Mukta, will wish to take her as his dance partner. Mukta meanwhile, would want to hide her feelings towards Aman due to the pressures she faces from family.
Furthermore, as per Aman’s ‘dream girl’ description, the girl he would fall in love with will be a simple looking girl. So Meethi (who is modern in her dressing) wants to dress up in a simple salwar and go to the party, while Mukta who is otherwise a simple and conservative girl (who wants to stay away from Aman) plans to dress in a western outfit. Since Mukta cannot afford to buy a new outfit for the party due to her family’s financial condition, she goes to Meethi to ask her for one of her dresses. This is where Meethi gives Mukta her uttaran which will be a used gown.
Guess history is set to repeat itself!
