There was a time when shows like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi kept running on television for more than a decade and now the position is exact opposite. If the show keeps on running for even two years, it is considered as long-running show and that too of course, successful one.
So no one can deny that Comedy Circus has set a benchmark in the Indian TV industry by completing 300 episodes. Recently a success party was thrown to celebrate the success of the show.
At the success party, contestants along with judge Archana Puran Singh were present to join in the fun! Archana, who has been the face of Comedy Circus, spoke highly about the show. When asked if Comedy Circus has set a certain standard for other shows in the same genre, Archana was quick to reply, "Other shows have tried and fallen flat on their face.
They say the proof of the pudding is in the eating. We have been getting good TRPs for five years. We provide fun, laughter and humour. People on Twitter are saying that we are doing god's job. But I'm not making them laugh. They simply associate me with the show. We are truly blessed that god has given us the ability to do this."
On a parting note Archana said that her biggest contribution to the industry has been Comedy Circus. Well, we can’t agree more with Archana!
