Yeah, we know you have guessed that it is Dil Mill Gayye we are talking about. It simply wonderstruck us as to how come a show enjoys such eminence even after going off air from the TV screens. Generally, daily soaps fade out of minds once they bid their last salute to their fans. However, with DMG the case seems to be just the reverse.
The show is still popular among the masses and fans are longing since long to see it back. They all want to see the sizzling chemistry between Karan Grover aka Dr. Armaan and Jennifer Winget aka Dr. Riddhima once again.
When Palkhi Malhotra, Project Head, Cinevistaas expresses was asked the probability of DMG making a return owing to its demand, she said, “Who will not be happy if Dill Mill Gayye gets back? But the main question is, ‘When and where can it come’? DMG suited the genre of shows that Star One made. We could easily tell that Star One meant Dill Mill Gayye, and Dill Mill Gayye meant Star One.
Today, DMG is such a huge property that any channel can approach us to get it back on screen. But there have been no takers till now, and this in itself explains that this youth show does not fit into the genre of any channel. The only channel that welcomes youth shows is Channel V. We as makers of DMG would be glad to work on it again.”
Well, the relentless pursuits of the fans to get their loved show back might yield result one day and the show will soon get suitable pilot.
