Are you among those who are raising the question, why women have to sacrifice her dreams after marriage? Have to drop her education, job or many numerous things? Well, this is actually the makers (Shashi and Sumeet Mittal productions) are trying to depict in Star Plus’ numero uno show Diya Aur Baati Hum.

In the serial, we’ve been witnessing that Sandhya (Deepika Singh) is struggling hard since her marriage and is doing each and every possible thing to make her in-laws happy. Now soon the lady will take the biggest decision of her life to maintain peace in her family.

According to the current track, the entire Rathi family got irked with Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya after the latter tried to convince Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) to let Sandhya full fill her dream of becoming an IPS officer. Now, Sooraj and the entire family are waiting for Bhabo's final decision as Sooraj believes that Bhabho might have a change of heart.

But like seen in the promos Bhabho is expressing her opposition for Sandhya's interest of becoming an IAS officer. Bhabho believes that women's priority is to look after the family and household chores. The entire Rathi family will turn against Sooraj; this will be the moment when Sandhya will decide to sacrifice her long desired wish of becoming an IPS officer. She will inform the family that she does not want wish to pursue higher education. Sandhya will take this decision to build peace in the family.
