Hockey player Raj Rani was declared the winner of "Survivor India" Saturday night.
Haryana-based Rani beat TV producer J.D. Majethia and Canada-based RJ Stithpragya Mohan to walk away with the winner's trophy and cash prize of Rs.1 crore.
The show started off with 22 contestants - 11 celebrities and 11 non-celebrities, who were left marooned on a secluded island in the Philippines for 45 days, where even the basic amenities weren't available.or India winner is Raj Rani. She became winner of Survivor India in the grand finale episode of Survivor India on Star Plus. Raj Rani is a state level hockey player and belongs to a small town in Haryana. Raj Rani received a check of Rs. 1 crore and a trophy of Survivor India. Raj Rani emerged as the survivor of the Show. Survivor India grand finale is celebrated in Mumbai. Grand finale of Survivor India on Star Plus was not as grand as Masterchef India 2 grand finale.
