The nation is giving big thumps up to the show Gumraah- The End of Innocence for its brilliant story line and unique presentation. Especially host Karan Kundra, who has been appreciated really well by the masses when it got aired simultaneously on two channels, namely Star Plus and Channel V last Saturday.
And the makers Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms are gearing up to make the show better and more appealing. The coming week’s episode will see a story titled, Mad Cap Kolkata Week. The plot will revolve around a bunch of kids from Kolkata who will run away from home to free themselves from the demands of their parents. But they will get caught in a bigger trouble and commit a crime which will destroy their lives.
For this particular sequence, the makers have roped in seasoned actress Papiya Sengupta. She would essay the character of a mother who will be hailing from a very rich family.
When got in touch with her, Papiya confirmed, “I am suffering from stomach ache so I postponed my shoot which was supposed to start from today (4 June 2012). I am glad to be a part of Gumraah.”
