Ever since the sixth season of famous reality singing show Indian Idol has been announced, there have been a lot of speculations over who would join Anu Malik, Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan as the fourth judge on Indian Idol season 6.
But now seems that the channel people have finally found the music idol of their choice as we can confirm that she will be none other than Asha Bhonsle.
Yes, it is the iconic Asha Bhonsle who was approached to join as judge and has been taken too. Reports from other sources also tell that music maestro AR Rahman was also approached for the show, but eventually it was Asha who bagged the offer.
Lately, the veteran singer has graced various reality shows as a celebrity judge, but this is the first time that she will be a full-fledged judge on a show. Asha will not be part of the audition rounds but will join the three judges from the gala rounds. Incidentally, she was to judge Sur Kshetra with Abida Parveen, Runa Laila, Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam. But we hear the show has now been delayed.
