Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opens on a good note

Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opens on a good note!

Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon opens on a good note
With its very first episode Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon aired on Colors made it clear that unlike the speculations made, the show has no similarity to Dilip Kumar and Madhubala’s romantic affair whatsoever.

In fact, this show helmed by Saurabh Tewari’s Nautanki Telefilms is a tribute to the 100 years of cinema. And we are really glad that the makers have lived up to the hype created and have indeed catered a nice show so far. For those who missed to watch Madhubala’s debut, here we have a glimpse of what all happened in last two episodes.

The maiden episode was aired for 1 hour and it kicked off pretty well. Opening theme of the show takes you back in the era of Eastman color, where Hindi films had a peculiar way of acknowledging the film’s team. Shot in Ramoji Film City, the opening episode introduced one and all to the mean Balraj Choudhary aka Raj Zutshi. He has already been married once but the desire of having a baby boy made him tie the knot twice (needless to mention what fate his first wife must have faced).

Terrified by the predictions made by their Guruji (Lalit Parimoo), Choudhary and his mother played by Shagufta Ali ask badi dai (Sushmita Mukherjee) to reveal the gender of Padmini’s (Pallavi Purohit) unborn child. But this must have delighted all the viewers as we saw badi dai saving Padmini and helping her to flee from their clutches.

And now we are getting to see how destiny leads Padmini and Balraj’s daughter Trishna, from his first wife, to the film studios in Mumbai. The goons are still chasing them and Padmini is adamant on saving the lives of kids.

Each episode of the show is turning to be a power packed one and this has made the viewers wait in anticipation for the entry of leads, Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena.

We are sure their presence will make Madhubala give a run for money to others!
