Remember Hazel Keech, the one who played Kareena Kapoor’s confidante in Bodyguard and later on ended up marrying Salman Khan. We are sure, by now you must have recognised her and you would be wondering where the pretty girl disappeared after making her debut in 2011’s blockbuster film.
Well, for some reason, she slipped into oblivion only to resurface in a very hot item number — Aa ante amlapuram in Kabir Kaushik's Maximum with Naseeruddin Shah and Sonu Sood.
When asked as to where she was hiding for the last 10 months, and whether her mentor Salman was aware of this boisterous item number she's done, Hazel says, "There were acting offers post Bodyguard but nothing that I really liked. While I was waiting, I was approached by Sonu Sood to do this item song. At first, I was hesitant, but when I heard the song, I loved it. I told Salman about the offer and he said, 'Go ahead and do it just for the fun of it.' That's exactly what I have done."
The beauty from Essex, UK says, "I'm a trained dancer and I have done popular music videos like Kahin Pe Nigahen in the past. But I have not thought of myself as an item girl. Even while growing up in the UK, I followed Bollywood closely and deeply admired Madhuri Dixit's jhatka-matkas. However, I was dead against doing an item song just for sake of being provocative."
