Pooja Banerjee, the Maharashtrian girl who hails from Nagpur will now make her acting debut with Star Plus' daily drama Ek Doosre Say Karte Hain Pyaar Hum.
Facing the camera is not a new thing for Pooja as she had started off her journey with MTV’s popular youth show Roadies. She was one of the top four contestants and garnered respect from the youth. But yes, getting before camera for fiction is certainly going to be a new experience for the lady.
As said, Pooja will soon be entering Star’s newly launched Ek Doosre…which is already doing a great job. Sources say that she will play Tejal in the series and her character is going to be quite a tomboyish one. Pooja is to play the lead opposite Aniket aka Vishal Gandhi, for whom the entire Majumdar family is looking for the ideal life partner.
When sources got in touch with Pooja, she expressed her notion saying, "When I came to know about Tejal's role I was very excited as I am very similar to her in real life. Moreover, I have always loved watching television and have been a great fan of comedy and with this break I am actually living my childhood dream and my passion for doing some great work".
With Tejal’s entry in the show, it would be interesting to see if Sayunkta’s hunt for a Yogya Bahu comes to an end!
