Whenever a new show is in its making, rumors about the star-cast comes parallel. In that note, the rumors list enhanced after hearing that the very popular reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, produced by BBC Entertainment, approached TV heartthrob Gurmeet Choudhary and fellow actor Anas Rashid for the show.
It is notable that speculations about the names of the contestants to be seen in JDJ have been doing rounds ever since the fifth season was announced. And with Gurmeet and Anas being brought into the scenario, it has become all the more exciting.
Gurmeet Choudhary has become the popular face of the television with shows like Ramayana aired Imagine TV and the best among all, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi from Star One. Presently he is playing the lead in Zee TV’s show Punar Vivah. On being asked about his participation in Jhalak, Gurmeet said, “No, I have not got any call from them.”
On the other hand Anas, the lead actor from Diya Aur Baati Hum said, “Yes, I was approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. However, I did not want to take it as my show Diya Aur Baati Hum is doing well and in any way I am going through a hectic”.
