Last we heard about Student of the Year was that the release date of the film has been set and now we have another update regarding the film directed by Karan Johar.
As per reports, leading music company Sony Music on Thursday announced that it has acquired the right of romantic comedy Student of the Year. Co-produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chilies Entertainment, the movie is a launch pad for starlet debutants Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra.
The music of the film is composed by Vishal-Shekhar. "Sony Music's association with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions goes back a long way. Student of the Year is a very special project for us and we will weave in innovative marketing elements into the campaign to connect with the youth and the fans at large," said Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director, Sony Music India.
Director Karan Johar said, "I am proud to associate yet again with them on SOTY, a film that launches three new talents and is a celebration of youth, music and dance."
We are eagerly waiting for the film’s release and hope that it won’t get postponed further!
