Since few days there have been speculations around regarding this but now it has been officially announced that Lindsay Lohan will play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime biopic Liz and Dick!
And the thrilling revelation here can be that the actress is touted as the most insured actress ever. Larry Thompson, producer of Lindsay Lohan's upcoming biopic Liz and Dick, thinks that the actress may be the most insured actress that ever walked on a soundstage.
This week, Lohan signed on to star in Lifetime's new film about Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's turbulent, ten-year relationship. Thompson asserted that he is confident that the troubled 25-year-old is more than capable of stepping up to the plate to play the icon.
Lohan, for her part, says, "I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role."
Added Thompson: "(Lindsay's) really excited by the challenge. She has a noble purpose; it's not like she's going to go do a little job -- the responsibility of playing Elizabeth Taylor is large."
Almost as large as the insurance premium!
