Item songs have become lifeline of Bollywood flicks these days. Latkas and jhatkas of the item girls play a vital role in fetching audience towards the theatre. Moving on with the wave, the makers of Joker have included an electrifying item song in order to lure the audience.
The item song Kaffirana has been picturized on Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh. The interesting part is that the lady will woo the audience by performing live on her item song. Like before release of her flick, Vidya Balan enthralled the audience by performing live on The Dirty Picture (2011) song Ooh La Laa and Ranbir Kapoor took the stage with A.R.Rahman to perform live on the songs of Rockstar (2011), Chitrangada is all set to show her Jalwa live.
As per sources, filmmaker Shirish Kunder is very excited on the item number, he confirmed the news and told the sources, “The song has turned out really well and we are very excited about it. As part of the promotions for the song, which is Chitrangada’s first item number it will be great to have her perform to it in front of live audiences. People have not really seen her dance, so it will have a great novelty factor.”
Sources further added that the actress is preparing hard for her live performance as she will be performing in Delhi and Mumbai post 25 July.
The audience can’t wait enough to see Chitrangada!
