Fireworks Productions’ weekend show CID aired on Sony Entertainment Television has been entertaining the masses for a record number of years now. Surprisingly, the eagerness amongst the audience to watch the crime based drama is still the same and in fact, it seems to growing up with each passing episode.
Every time the makers come up with something new and exciting for their loyal fans and following the suit this time around they have again brought in a welcoming change. Buzz has it that CID, which so far was a bi-weekly, has now been turned into a tri-weekly one. Thus, from now on you will be able to catch the team from every Friday to Sunday.
As per a source, “The date for this change has not been fixed yet. However, it is confirmed that CID will be aired tri-weekly from June.” On the other end, Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradhyuman confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true that we will be going tri-weekly sometime post IPL.”
Along with the new change in time, the show has also got in a new member added in the team. Janvi Chheda is the latest entrant in the squad and she will be seen playing the role of a CID officer. On being asked about the news, Janvi said, “Well, talks are in process but nothing is finalized as of now.”
