Jannat 2 is an upcoming Bollywood crime thriller film and a sequel to the 2008 hit film, Jannat. The film is directed by Kunal Deshmukh, and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. It features Emraan Hashmi, Randeep Hooda, Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta in lead roles. The storyline is based on the issue of illegal arms in Delhi. The first look unveiled on 15 March 2012, whilst the film is to hit theatres on 4 May 2012.The film is based on 2005 hollywoood movie "Lord of War".

STORY
The story revolves around Sonu Dilli (Emraan Hashmi), a greedy gun salesman, who has been tagged as "KKC - Kutti Kameeni Cheez" by his customers. He believes if every citizen owns a gun, the wars would stop as everybody would be equal. He falls in love with Sonia (Esha Gupta), however after knowing his past career which will be revealed throughout the film, Sonia leaves him. The story forms with Sonu Dilli on his quest to fix his life up and bring back Sonia.

Production

Many actresses such as Prachi Desai, Esha Gupta, Kangna Ranaut and others were reported to be assigned as the female lead of the film.^[5] However, Gupta was chosen amongst the others. In October 2011, the film began shooting in the lines of Delhi Airport Metro Express.^[6] The film wrapped up its shooting on 17 January 2012.

The music is composed by Pritam and is released along with the release of movie Blood Money. The Tracklist comprises 9 tracks and singers like Shafqat Amanat Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, KK, Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali have lent their voices for the album. The soundtrack opens with positive reviews from critics. Bollyspice gave the film music 3.5 stars out of 5. Musicperk.com rated it 7.5/10 quoting "All songs are very beautiful and composed very well. Overall, a great album to listen to.
