The abrupt shutting down of Imagine brought in a deep shock for many involved with the channel. Even fans, who had been following many of the shows on Imagine, showed their rage by bashing the channel’s official site.
There are many shows which are being demanded to be aired back and one of them is Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe’s Chandragupta Maurya. Buzz has it that the fans of CGM are in deep rage and they are hell bent on bringing the show back. Around 75,000 of them are running a campaign Save Chandragupta Maurya on a social networking site.
Manish Wadhwa aka Chanakya, said, “Yes, talks are surely on to get Chandragupta Maurya back. I am also eagerly waiting for it to happen. I am not taking any other show at this moment. We have the prayers of the fans with us, and are hopeful”.
Ashish Sharma aka Chandragupta Maurya stated, “I know it’s a long process but talks are surely on. I think we deserve a comeback and at least get a chance to complete the story.” Producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha also sounded positive and shared, “Yes, efforts are on to get CGM back. We hope to see it happen and are overwhelmed by the fans’ reactions”.
Let us keep our fingers crossed and see if fan power brings Maurya back!
