Needless to say that UTV Productions’ Shubh Vivah aired on Sony TV was launched with great expectations and hopes amidst much fanfare.
The show was supposed to create magic but it couldn’t hold on the attention from the viewers and faced criticism from all ends. In fact, of late it was circulated that the channel is axing the daily and replacing it with a new one.
But the latest update has brought cheers to the team of Shubh Vivah as it has been offered an extension. Sony has given the show a three months time to prove its mettle. Neha Janpandit, who plays the lead Saroj, confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have also heard about it but have not received any official confirmation.”
Furthermore, after the entry of Amit Dolawat and Priya Ahuja, fans will now see Adarsh Gautam as entering the show as Saroj’s rich uncle who will help her return to her sasural. As seen last, she was asked to leave the house by her mother-in-law and Amrit (Eijaz Khan). Her mother-in law is hell-bent on making her life miserable. But in the upcoming episodes, Adarsh will make an entry and help Saroj. He will go and meet Saroj’s mother-in-law and her husband Amrit.
He will trap the family sensing their greed for money and will thus pave the path of Saroj’s entry in the house.
Let us just hope that Shubh Vivah will make the best use of this time span!
