Deepali Sahay, who is at present playing Pari in Sahara One’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajhna, was also a contestant in Indian Idol season 3.
The pretty lady was amongst the top seven contestants in that season and luckily she even got the chance of playing the host for it in the next season along with Meiyang Chang. Ever since then her friendship with Meiyang has been a talk. The two are often spotted together and despite being busy with their respective careers they dig out time for one another.
Meanwhile, there were rumors stating of a romantic linkup between them. However, they kept on denying the news and clearly said that they are just good friends and truly mean that. Recently when sources got to have a word with Deepali, she said, “We share the same rapport we used to during our Indian Idol days. He has come a long way since then and I am immensely happy for him”.
She further added, “No matter how busy we are in our professional lives, we definitely catch up. However, it’s not just me and Chang, a lot of other contestants from that season also catch up”.
When questioned about her love life, Deepali said, “I’m single as of now but I do not know what the future holds for me. Since I belong to a Bihari family I can enjoy my single status, till I turn 26. After that I will try my level best to stretch it further”.
