It is not a new trend on TV that we get to see the elder men romancing younger women. Though on-screen things might not look so strange but off-screen it can be a bit tricky if one has to romance a 14 year old girl.
We know you must be thinking hard to figure out as to which reel love tale we are talking of. Well, it’s Avika Gor (Roli) and Manish Raisinghania (Siddhant) from Sunrise Productions’ Sasural Simar Ka (Colors), who happen to be the subject of discussion. When Manish was asked if he feels uncomfortable shooting the intimate scenes with Avika, he said, “I am an actor and if I am asked to even romance a piece of wooden board; I will be okay with it”.
He then added, “Initially, when I learned that I was getting paired opposite Avika, I was a bit shaken. My first reaction was like do I have a child opposite me. I have seen Avika running around at award functions. But when I started working with her, I realized that she is a fantastic actress and she knows her scenes well.” Talking about his off-screen rapport with Avika, Manish stated, “She is a child and I have a child in me too so we keep doing a lot of masti on the sets. We keep playing pranks. At work level, we improvise a lot and give our hundred percent to develop the right kind of chemistry.”
