As reported earlier as well, TV czarina Ekta Kapoor has been planning since long to launch a youth oriented show on MTV, which would be on the backdrop of Hollywood’s Gossip Girls.
Al these days, Ekta and her team has been busy hunting for the right Gossip Girls. As the story revolves around the life of four teenage girls studying in standard 12, the makers are on the hunt of suitable young looking faces. Buzz states that they have roped in the beautiful and gracious Fenil Umrigar to play one of the girls.
Fenil has already appeared in shows like Maryada Lekin Kab Tak on Star Plus and currently she is seen as Priya in Life OK’s one of the top rated shows, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhav.
In Gossip Girls, she will play the role of Sana, a simple Muslim girl who will aspire to be a footballer in future. The young actress Fenil confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am doing this show and will start shooting for it very soon. It’s a very interesting story of four girls and their lives. This is all what I can share with you now”.
