Sonam Kapoor is a style icon in the Indian Film Industry and is very well known for her unique style statement. Buzz has it that the fashionista is on the ninth sky these days because like the previous year, this time too she will grace the 65th edition of the Cannes International Film Festival.
The Indian film fraternity is eyeing this most popular International Film Festival which is going to be held from 16 to 27 May. As per the last updates, Bollywood diva and representative of L’Oreal Paris, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is geared up to create her magic at Cannes. Following her, Sonam who too is a face of L’Oreal will be seen gracing the red carpet.
As per the industry sources, the cosmetic giant is going to compete 15 years as the official make up partner for the grand fest this year, to celebrate this long and successful association the diva will walk the red carpet at the closing ceremony; on 27th May.
Sonam is thrilled to be a part of Cannes for the second time, on being quizzed, she said, “The Cannes film festival is the oldest and most prestigious film festival where the best in cinema gets showcased. I am excited to be at the closing ceremony where the best films will get awarded”.
Apart from Aishwarya, Sonam would be joined by other L’Oreal representatives; Freida Pinto, Jane Fonda, Bianca Balt and Eva Longoria.
