After playing a cameo in Sony TV’s Saas Bina Sasural, actress Rucha Gujarathi has bagged a new role for herself.
Buzz has it that she will soon be seen in an episodic of Fireworks Productions’ Hum Ne Li Hai…Shapath, aired on Life OK. The actress will play the role of a lead actor in television soap. Talking about the plot of the story a source said that it will deal with the unfortunate murder that takes place on the sets of a television show.
Rucha will play Sameera, the glamorous and confident actress who believes in herself. Her outspoken attitude makes her the prime suspect when the producer’s wife gets killed on the set. The story will revolve around Sameera, and the manner in which she is proven innocent.
When sources got in touch with Rucha, she confirmed her presence in the show and said, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Shapath. It’s a very challenging role and I took it up as I wanted to do something different from the docile roles. I play an actress here, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder that takes place on the sets”.
