Producer Rashmi Sharma’s Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein aired on Zee TV has so far stood successful in bagging the attention from the viewers and is still standing with its head held high.
Going contrary to the speculations which earlier talked of the show biding adieu, Mrs. Kaushik has proved its mettle and is tagged as one of the top rated show of Zee. Now that the Anamika (Jyotsna Chandola) track is all over, the CVs are planning to bring in a new twist which is apparently going to welcome some new faces on board.
Buzz has it that Guddi Maruti and Menka Lalwani, who will play the role of mother and daughter respectively, will soon make an entry in the show. As seen, Mrs Kaushik’s family has just recovered from the shock after learning the truth about Anamika’s vices. Now, these two new entries will further spice up the plot.
Guddi Maruti will play the role of Padmavati aka Paddy, who will be Mrs. Kaushik’s (Vibha Chibber) childhood friend. She and her two daughters will be residing in India but in order to boast before others they will pretend as if they have returned from abroad. One of her daughter’s roles will be played by Menka Lalwani, who was last seen in Star Plus’ Baa Bahu Aur Baby.
Guddi Maruti confirmed her presence and said, “Yes, I have already started shooting for the show. It’s like catching up with old people as I have done Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat with the same production house earlier. There is a nice comfort level. It is a cameo and an interesting character to play.”
