Sumona Chakravarti to be seen in Barfii

jjjjjjj
Sumona Chakravarti to be seen in Barfii!

If you all are fond of watching Natasha Kapoor aka Sumona Chakravarti from Bade Acche Lagte Hain then you will soon get to catch the lady on the big screen too.

Buzz has it that the actress has grabbed a cameo in Anurag Basu’s Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. Talking of it, Sumona said, "I know a lot is being written about how television actors waste themselves by doing tit-bit roles in movies (laughs). But I would like to say that my role is a cameo and I have known Anurag dada since a long time. So when he offered me the role I couldn't say no and did the film simply for Anurag dada. I knew the length of my role will be very small but I wanted to work with Anurag Basu.”

On her experience of working in her Bollywood debut, she responded, "It was my first film and I needed a guidance and trust me dada was always there for me. I believe I am a director's actor and I did whatever he told me to do in the film. Barfi is not a typical Hindi film. The film has more of reactions and reactions can't be scripted. I enjoyed each and every moment of working in the film".

While you enjoyed moments of film, we are also looking forward to enjoy your role in the film Sumona.

Cezanne Khan became a household name as he played the extremely popular Anurag Basu in Balaji Telefilms’ Kasauti Zindagii Kay aired on Star Plus.

His on-screen chemistry with co-star Shweta Tiwari aka Prerna set the small screen on fire and the two are still adored by many of their fans. However, ever since Cezanne made an exit from Kasauti, one has been missing his presence on the tube.

Recently, when sources got in touch with the stunner, this is what he had to say in concern with his whereabouts: "I am enjoying my life. I am away from the small screen as I don't want to take up a role just for the sake of it. I want something that will create an impact in the minds of television viewers. I got offers, but I won’t take up any role for the sake of money. Acting is my passion and I want to do something convincing”.

He further continued, "I am happy spending time with my family. Apart from that, of and on I keep doing tele-serials (episodics) for GEO and Pakistan TV.”

When asked if he also feels the high level of competition around, Cezanne stated, "Yes, time has changed and things have changed. Lot of news faces have come in, but as they old is gold and demand for popular faces are still high”.

Many people call Cezanne as media shy but retorting back, he said, "I am not media shy; it’s just that I am nothing to share. When I will have, I will talk to everyone. I am waiting for some concrete role to come my way wherein I can showcase my acting abilities. It should fit my age, not very old or young. I want viewers to remember it. But I am thankful that fans still remember me as Anurag Basu”.

I never wanted to get into modelling or acting, avers Ileana D'Cruz!
South actress Ileana D’Cruz, who is all set to make an entry in Bollywood with Anurag Basu’s forthcoming film Barfi, claims that she never intended to get into acting or modelling.

It is no more a news that the former model will next be seen in Barfi opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The beautiful actress reveals that life has took her in this field, otherwise she never planned to come in this industry at all.

Recently, while talking to the sources, she said, "My first break was for an advertisement that gave me a lot of exposure. And films followed. I actually never wanted to get into modelling either. I was a complete tomboy. You'd never see me wearing skirts. I happened to meet Marc Robinson in Goa. He felt I could be a good model. So, I gave it a shot."

There were also rumours of catfight between her and Priyanka on the film’s set, so on being asked if there is any truth in this, she retorted back, "I won't say we are good friends but we haven't fought for sure. We get along well. PC is an amazing person."

Meanwhile, Barfi director Anurag Basu also denied that the two actresses were unfriendly on set. Well, everyone would surely love to watch this beautiful actress on silver screen, and that time is not too far!
