Few days back we shared a story regarding mystified relationship shared by Kanan Malhotra and Chahat Khanna. It all started when few days back the Chahat denied the romantic relation between them, while the Kanan claimed that he is indeed dating her.

However now it is proved out to be mere misunderstanding as Chahat was putting efforts to hide their relation while she didn’t knew that Kanan has already discussed it in public.

This mismatch between their views led to lots of confusion and speculation regarding the exact status of their relationship. However, now Chahat has decided to come clean and shared with us, “Yes, we are together since October 2010.”

We then asked why she gave a different version earlier. “I am a private person and did not want to make my relationship status public. I sometimes feel that the media knows more about me than me.” The couple had met at the mock shoot of Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharamyudh on Zee TV, and Kanan later went on to do the show. “We kept on meeting since then,” she smiled.

She also confirmed what Kanan had earlier said to us about their impending marriage, “Yes, we are planning to tie the knot by the year end.”

Well, we are glad that the confusion has ended and we wish both of them a happy life ahead!!!

It’s all work for producer Jay Mehta as he is occupied from all ends, be it his extended tours in India for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders or his production house getting busy with its next on Zee TV, Jay simply has no time to relax.

It’s been quite some weeks that reports about the star cast of this soon to commence show has been doing rounds in the town. After updating you on many of the prospected names, here we have got a few more add- ons. Sources say that the makers have now signed in Kanan Malhotra and Aryan Vaid to play crucial roles in the show.

Kanan was last seen in Imagine TV’s Preeto as Dhruv while Aryan gained popularity as a contestant in Bigg Boss season 1. Talking more about their roles, the source added that Kanan will essay the role of Daljeet, one of the male leads, who hails from Chandigarh and wants a job abroad. This is the same role which was earlier offered to Nandish Sandhu, but he has to opt out due to health reasons.

Meanwhile, Aryan will play Malini Kapoor’s fiancée who had abandoned her on the night of their wedding. Kanan confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I cannot say anything at this point of time as nothing has been finalized yet”.

Solving the mysteries linked with our television and film stars’ relationship status is definitely not an easy task. And things get a bit more complicated when either of the two love birds end up giving contradictory remarks over the relation.

And this is what exactly being done by TV actors Chahat Khanna-Ayesha of Sony TV’s Bade Acche Lagte Hain and Kanan Malhotra; last seen as Dhruv in Imagine’s Preeto. It is notable that Chahat was once married to a businessman Bharat Narsinghani but the marriage couldn’t last for long and the two got divorced.

Ever since then she has been trying hard to make it big in town. However, of late, Chahat bagged attention for her perplexed relationship with Kanan. It was in the news that these have been seeing each other from last two years but recently they broke off. When Chahat was probed about the same, she left all wondering by stating, “Break up? We have never been in a relationship. Kanan is just a good family friend. He is from Delhi and my entire family knows him. We often hang out together, but we are certainly not dating. But you never really know what happens in the future. We might get together.”

Whereas Kanan said, “Yes, Chahat and I are dating since the last one and a half years. We met during a mock shoot at Delhi.” Not only did he confess his love but also admitted about his wish to settle down with Chahat.

To this, Chahat’s spokesperson said, “Let Kanan say whatever he wants but for Chahat he is just a good friend. She is not dating Kanan.”

Well, these two surely need a reality check!
