DJ’s A Creative Unit production’s Choti Bahu on Zee TV is going off air. The show will bid adieu to viewers on 18 May 2012.

As reported, the show is all set to say goodbye as the channel has decided to pull the plug on it. Instead of distressing, the team has decided to make a happy ending for the show. Now, talking about the last two episodes it is going to be seen that Dev (Avinash Sachdev) and Rohan will come face to face and throw some jabs at each other.  Finally, Rohan will realize his mistakes and confess to all his misdoings.

On the other hand, Radha aka Shrishti Rode’s truth will be revealed before the family that she is not a human being but God. She will accept her defeat and will admit that Radhika aka Rubina Dilaik is Lord Krishna’s true devotee.

The team has been busy shooting its last episode on 17th May. Avinash Sachdev shared, “Yes, the show will definitely come to an end on a happy note. I can’t comment how it will happen. All I can say is that Dev and Radhika’s struggles will hopefully come to an end. It was great working with the team and it’s very disheartening that our show is coming to an end. I would not be able to meet my cast and crew.”

Here we have a sad piece of news for all the ardent fans of Zee TV’s Choti Bahu produced by DJ’s A Creative Unit. Buzz has it that following a major development, which took place recently, the channel has decided to shut down the show.

The show is going off air and will shoot for its last episode on 17 May 2012. Sources say that the channel was not happy with its ratings and had been thinking of axing it since long. However, the makers had tried their best to incorporate different twists but looks nothing could save the fate of Choti Bahu.

In fact, they had even given the proposal of either shifting it to the 6:30pm slot or turning it into a bi-weekly one but Zee refused both. This news was broken to the cast and crew today i.e. May 12 that the show will go off air. Its last airing date will be 18 May 2012. It will be replaced by Shakuntalam Telefilms’ much awaited show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke which will hit the screens from 21 May 2012 at 7.30pm.

Rubina Dilaik aka Radhika confirmed the news and said, “We have been officially told today that our show is going off air. It will end on a happy note. It was great being a part of it. We joined the show happily and now we will bid adieu to it happily. Post Choti Bahu, there is nothing in the pipeline as of now”.

Every good thing has to end and guess Choti Bahu too is following the same norm. But we are sure that viewers are going to miss their beloved Dev (Avinash Sachdev) and Radhika.

DJ Creative Unit's show Choti Bahu season 2 aired on Zee TV is nowadays going through a very tough phase due to low TRPs, and seems that the channel has also lost hope in it.

And this is the reason the show is going to experience a slot change to be brought in action from 21st of May 2012; the show will be aired at 6:30 pm instead of 7:30pm.

Now this is not the only reason for slot change: sources say that Shakuntalam Telefilms much awaited show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, which is said to be waiting from past six months, is finally going to be aired from 21st may 2012 on 7:30 pm slot thus replacing the former.

When contacted Rubina Dilaik (Radhika) she said, “I have no idea whether our show would go off air or take a shift in time slot. It’s good if it’s shifting.” If believe the sources then show can also be asked to quit if it is not able to earn numbers in TRP charts.

Well, seems like the show needs some real twist to win back the audience.

The creatives of Zee TV’s Choti Bahu are trying their best to bag the eyeballs by bringing in various changes in the storyline.

First we had updated you about Barkha (Benaf Dadachandji) returning to the show as the evil soul in order to settle her scores with Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) but as seen in the recent episodes, there was nothing like that. The Rajpurohit house indeed saw Radhika’s twin sister Ruby getting possessed but the spirit wasn’t of Barkha.

It was an attempt to ruin ethics and morals prevailing in the family. But thanks to Radhika, she not only got rid of the evil spirit but also managed to bring Ruby’s life back. The viewers even saw a changed Kanha, which was earlier played by Nishant Shokeen. From now on one will see Pracheen Chauhan playing Lord Kanha in the daily. Furthermore, Choti Bahu will again see a track change as the Bharadwaj family is to make an exit from the show.       

Talking of her stint in the show, Kishwar Merchant said, “It was good to be part of the show for a few months as I got to meet new people and had fun together. Now it’s time to move on to another show though it was not expected that it will end so soon as I was informed that it would be a cameo of three months. Anyways, I have no complaints about it.”
