It’s time for some happy moments in Cinevistaas’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus as the story will now focus on Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) getting engaged to Virat (Kushal Tandon).

Last we had updated you how Dadaji (Deep Dhillon) came down to Hrishikesh with family to finalize the alliance of Maanvi and Virat, where soon they will have a Roka ceremony happening.

Buzz now states that post the Roka ceremony; the two families will decide to prepare for Maanvi and Virat’s ‘Sagaai’. Of course, this will call for huge celebration, full of fun, masti, dance and music during the engagement. All will be seen in a happy mood after they accept Maanvi in spite of her suffering from cancer. The engagement sequence is to take place in Chandigarh.

Amidst all, Swamini (Seema Kapoor) will be shown upset with the alliance, but will have to go with the flow and be with her family in the decision.

Actor Kushal Tandon confirmed the news saying, “Yes, Virat has stood his ground and has won against all odds. He has convinced his family to accept Maanvi, and now Virat and Maanvi are excited about their engagement.”

Television’s admirable actress Niaa Sharma has been getting bold and powerful onscreen through her awe-strucking performance of Maanvi in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus, where she is playing the complex role of a cancer patient.

And even took up a brave front to show a bald look in the show, which had fetched a huge TRP of 4.7, with the average TVR for the week going up to 3.7.

The young girl gives out her heart when asked her about the current state of mind, she said the character of Maanvi has overpowered her and added, “It was very difficult for me to portray the sulking, emotional and depressed side of Maanvi after playing the chirpy and bubbly girl initially. When Maanvi laughed and joked, Niaa used to smile too. But now when Maanvi is in such a condition, Niaa too is depressed. Frankly speaking, I had to go through a lot within me to fight this situation and come out of it.”

On her parents supporting her during this phase, she says, “My parents were the first ones to tell me to go for it (to show the bald plate on screen). And when the episode was aired, my mother had tears in her eyes, and my brother messaged me immediately. They are proud of me today, and that makes me feel good.”

Virat aka Kushal Tandon has turned to be the new rage in town as the young actor has proved his risk taking skills by shaving off his hair in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.

Talking of his bold move, Kushal said, “Script demanded me to cut my hair and it seemed right in the storyline. I was not forced by the production house and it was my decision to do so”.

For the uninitiated, Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) on the show has been suffering from cancer and undergoing chemotherapy sessions. As she reaches to the third stage of treatment she starts losing her hair and goes bald. On the other side Virat, who is deeply in love with Maanvi, took a shocking decision by shedding his lustrous mane and leaving his family shocked.

Kushal’s mind-blowing act and brave decision for the role of Virat has been applauded by all his fans and supporters. Talking of his look further, he said, "The scene was shot in the room. If common sense prevails, I could have not taken a razor and simply shaved my head off. I had a trimmer and trimmed my hair."

It seems that makers of Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai are leaving no stone unturned in gaining the sympathy and attention from viewers. Up with a good cause, the makers have weaved the cancer track very nicely thereby highlighting the pain and hardships such patients have to undergo.

Meanwhile, with a character like Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) who is all full of energy and spark even after suffering from the deadly disease, the creatives have given all the message of how one can live his life to the fullest even after all sufferings. Well, coming episodes of the show will turn more dramatic and painful as things for Maanvi will get from bad to worse.

There is no doubt that Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai is ruling the roost on the channel and is busy bagging good numbers.

Last episode we saw Viren (Karan Tacker) and Jeevika (Krystle Dsouza) grooving Shammi Kapoor's popular song Yun toh humne laakh haseen dekhe hain... tumsa nahi dekha, where the two catered a flawless performance in the retro look.

Viren aka Karan, who was busy hosting the red carpet of IIFA Singapore, is finally back in action in the show and the song sequence was his surprise visit to Virat (Kushal Tandon), Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) and Jeevika , who are in Mumbai for Maanvi's treatment. His visit has ended the tension between him and Jeevika. This was indeed a light moment catered in the show but it won’t live for long as soon all of them would head back to Chandigarh owing to Maanvi’s failure to respond to the treatment. Her deteriorating health condition will create some tense moments.

Last, the viewers witnessed Maanvi getting emotional and finding solace in Virat. However, this lovely moment of theirs won’t last long as her condition will soon hit a new low when the treatment for which she has come to Mumbai will be called off due to the deterioration in her health condition. And Maanvi will now, for the first time fall in love, and will realize the need for warmth, closeness and love coming from a guy who is none other than her Partner Virat aka Kushal Tandon.

Last seen, Virat, Maanvi and Jeevika headed to Mumbai for Maanvi’s treatment, wherein Maanvi decided to have all the fun instead of worrying over her treatment.

In the coming episodes Maanvi will realize that she has fallen in love with Virat, the guy who has always cared and supported her. This will anger Viren aka Karan Tacker as he would feel Jeevika is overdoing things.

On the other side somehow Maanvi will hear this conversation, and will plan to go back to Hrishikesh. Star Plus’ highly popular daily saga Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna is getting more and more spine-tingling these days. As we had updated earlier about Viren aka Karan Tacker learning about Maanvi’s (Niaa Sharma) cancer truth, now, we have got the next update of the forthcoming track. 

As we are watching the promos of Mahaepisode which to be aired on 19 May 2012, Jeevika aka Krystle Dsouza  will also come to know about Maanvi’s ailment. Maanvi will finally gather courage to tell her sister about her illness.

Giving a detailed insight to the plot, a source said that both Viren and Virat (Kushal Tandon) will urge Maanvi to reveal the truth to Jeevika. Later, it will be Maanvi’s birthday and her Hrishikesh family will also come down to Chandigarh in order to surprise her. But to her dismay, Jeevika, who otherwise had always been the first one to wish her, will not do it the same way this time around. She will be hell-bent on knowing the reason that stopped Maanvi from donating blood to her.

Eventually Maanvi will tell about her cancer and to everyone’s surprise Jeevika will take it calmly. She will stand up in Maanvi’s support and motivate her. While the family will be busy celebrating her birthday, Jeevika will excuse herself from the bash and this is when she will break down in pain for her sister.

Cinevistaas’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain aired on Star Plus has become a big hit among the masses and people are simply loving the new twists and turns brought into the storyline.

As seen last, Viren (Karan Tacker) is highly miffed with Maanvi (Niaa Sharma) as she had refused to donate blood to Jeevika (Krystle Dsouza) while she was on the deathbed. This had led to a huge drama following which Viren had got Jeevika back to Chandigarh not allowing Maanvi to meet her.     

Meanwhile, Virat (Kushal Tandon) who is aware of the fact about Maanvi suffering from cancer is not able to stand Viren’s behavior towards Maanvi. On Maanvi’s insistence he agrees to hide the truth from Viren and brings her to Chandigarh along with him. Viren is completely displeased over this act of Virat but stays calm before Jeevika as he doesn’t want her to take any stress.  

He won’t allow Maanvi to stay in the house and will constantly keep on asking Virat to let her go back to Hrishikesh. This will eventually lead into a big confrontation between Virat and Viren, and apparently Virat will tell him about Maanvi’s cancer.  When Kushal was asked about the track, he said, “Yes, there will be confrontation between Viren and Virat. There will also be other big developments.”

Niaa Sharma aka the bubbly and vibrant Maanvi of Star Plus' popular daily Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai has indeed proved this fact. The actress is suffering with red eyes these days, courtesy excess of glycerin used by her.

Yes! You heard it right, due to her emotional scenes in the show, Niaa had to apply lots of glycerin so that her eyes appear tearful in the show, but little did she know that this will lead to a reaction in real life too. The eyes have become red and swollen due to excessive use of the glycerin.

Niaa however says that it was the show’s demand; everyone knows that Maanvi had to face much criticism from Viren aka Karan Tacker when she refused to give blood to Jeevika played by Krystal D’Souza; both are oblivious of the fact that Maanvi is having a cancer.

Talking about the cancer track, Niaa says, “They will stretch it as far as possible as it very popular. I am sure they will take it to an extreme where I will be on the death bed before some miracle saves me”. She also admits," Just doing the character of a cancer patient has really shaken me up. I am very scared and hope such a killer disease never befalls anyone.”

 The audience of Cinevistaas’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (Star Plus) has been long awaiting for Jeevika (Krystal D’Souza) to get to know the truth of Maanvi’s (Niaa Sharma) illness. But as per the latest update, it seems that will not still take place anytime soon.

As per buzz Jeevika’s accident, will be followed by Virat (Kushal Tandon) getting to know about Maanvi’s illness. However Jeevika and Viren (Karan Tacker) will remain unaware of this fact. Now, the next twist in the tale is that there will be a rift between the brothers, Viren and Virat.

It is learnt that Viren will get extremely angry at Maanvi as she has refused to give blood to Jeevika when she was literally fighting for her life. So later on when Jeevika gets blood and gets better, Viren arranges for a charter plane and takes her back to Chandigarh. Maanvi in the meanwhile, goes through her chemotherapy sessions and goes to Chandigarh to meet her sister.

However, Viren will not allow Maanvi to see her sister. Virat who knows about Maanvi suffering from cancer will side Maanvi, but cannot reveal the truth to his brother. Viren will be angry with Virat as the latter defends Maanvi. Jeevika will also understand that something is wrong between her husband and Maanvi, and will be desperate to meet her sister.

Now it has to be seen how Viren and Virat will face the situations put before them and whether Viren and Jeevika get to know of Maanvi’s illness.

In the recent past we saw some high drama unfolding in the show wherein Maanvi is seen hiding her cancer from everyone in the Wadhera family especially Jeevika. On the other end, Virat has sensed his love for Maanvi and is trying his level best to woo his ladylove. It is the time to rejoice for the lovers of Maanvi (Nia Sharma), as end of this relationship may open the way for Maanvi and Virat to realize their love towards each other. Sources reveal that Virat who was earlier convinced by Maanvi that Maya has got rid of all her negativity, will finally realize that she has not changed much.
