Here we have an inside dope that Anuj’s (Jay Bhanushali) love interest Mala (Leena Jumani) is going to be back to spike up the rating in Colors’ show Kairi.

According to the current track, Kalawati (Janvi Sanghvan) throws Mala out of the house on the pretext that she's not giving her 100% to her engagement. That's when Ambi (Preeti Chaudhary) takes Mala to her house. Ambi is totally unaware of Mala's intentions. However, Kalawati supports Mala's decision to enter Anuj and Ambi's household in order for Mala to woo Anuj back.

In the coming episodes viewers will see Mala would enter in the Imarti Devi’s residences on Ambi’s insistence. The level of drama will cross the borders when both the ladies live under the same roof, but Ambi will be unaware about Mala’s bad eye on her husband Anuj, where she is trying her best to charm Anuj and applying tricks to win his heart.

Well, the character of Mala will not be called as vamp on the show she has her positive qualities and her sole aim is to win Anuj without hurting Ambi. Her character will have shades of grey, but she's won't play an out and out negative character.

Confirming the news, Leena Jumani adds, "Mala only wants to remind Anuj about her and the love they used to share. I am not out there to hurt Ambi".

Colors’ saas bahu melodrama Kairi is geared up to bring a new character in the show. Abhinav Kohli, who was last seen in Imagine’s Sarvagun Sampan and is said to be a in a relationship with Shweta Tiwary will now be entering as Imarti Devi’s aka Hema Singh eldest son, Prakash.

As seen in the show that Prakash had been staying in Dubai all this while but he will come down to India on the occasion of his mother’s birthday. This will come as a big surprise for Imarti Devi.

However, in upcoming plot, Ambi aka Preeti Chaudhary will try to teach Imarti Devi a lesson by confiscating her locker keys and making vegetables out of cashew nuts which Imarti had preserved for her. In return, Imarti will try putting chill powder in Ambi’s eyes but instead she will end up being all “red eyed”.

The drama will further continue with Ambi inviting Prakash on Imarti’s birthday. She will plan to surprise Imarti with Prakash’s entry in the house but all she intends is to teach Imarti a lesson. As seen in the earlier episodes, Imarti has been trying hard to keep Kusum (Dipti Dhayani) and Prakash away from each other. And now all her efforts will go in vain due to Ambi’s simple plan.

When got in touch with Abhinav who confirmed his entry and said, “I haven’t started shooting yet but the audience will see me on the show really soon.”

The khatta mitha saas bahu rishta on Kairi is doing well on small screen and especially Roshani, who has managed to tickle the funny bones of the audience with her fantastic portrayal of the character.

Now here we have a fabulous piece of news about Roshani that she is in a steady relationship with a guy not from the television industry and has been working in abroad. The actress seems happy to share her relationship status rather to hide like the telly town ladies possibly do.

On being asked to confirm her kinship status she excitedly shared her notion and said, "Yes, I am dating someone and he is not from the industry. I have been seeing him for the last 3 years but we still we haven't decided about marriage." She has planned to patch her acting in television first, then about the marriage.

 Colors’ melodrama Kairi is leading to some drama with two strong willed ladies with different ideologies coming face to face. Now Ambi’s aka Preeti Choudhary has entered in the Imarti Devi’s house this will surely awarded some katha-mitha saas bahu rishta in future episodes. 

Shortly in coming episode viewers will witness some twist in the tale wherein Ambi for the first time will meet Anuj’s (Jay Bhanushali) ex girlfriend Mala (Leena Jumani). And unfortunately Mala will end up telling her love story with Anuj to Ambi.

The plot will go when Ambi and Anuj will visit a temple wherein Ambi will see a girl lying in one corner of the area. The girl will be Mala. Ambi will ask her whereabouts, and start conversing with her. This is when Mala will unknowingly reveal her love story with Anuj, but she will not mention Anuj’s name anytime during the dialogue.

Further in a dramatic turn, Mala will faint soon after pouring her heart out. Ambi will take her to a hospital which will mark the beginning of a good bonding between Mala and Ambi. But after a few days Mala will learn of Ambi being Anuj’s wife. When talked to Leena Jumani regarding the track she said, “Yes, Ambi will bump into Mala and will turn the plot in an interesting mode”

Colors’ new show Kairi produced by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt. Ltd is bouncing its TRP straight to the top. As seen in last episodes the Subh-Sangam is airing which celebrates the wedding functions of Anuj aka Jay Bhanushali and Ambi aka Preeti Chaudhary.

However, one incident that took place on the sets made the entire unit to panic. As heard, the actors wrapped up shooting for the Mehndi sequence of Ambi and merrily went their way back home. After that the post production boys got busy to cut the scenes and prepare the episode which was to be sent to the channel. But there came a drama wherein an employee mistakenly pressed the "delete" instead of the "send" button.

The incident came as a big shocker for everyone as the entire footage got erased out of nowhere. They did not have a back-up as they shot it on HD. However, since the Mehndi sequence was to be aired on May 18, the team still had some time to re-shoot. And must say that they indeed finished it with the same dedication!

Source got in touch with producer Sumeet Mittal and he shared, "Yes, the telecast did get erased due to a mistake but we are trying to complete the shoot today."

Well, this is quite appreciable!

Two of Colors’ highly popular family drama, Kairi produced by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd and Sasural Simar Ka by Sunrise Productions, are going to see a cross over episode.

Crossover episodes are slowly and steadily emerging as one of the widely used trends in the Hindi television industry. In a rather interesting conceptual development, the storylines of the two same shows will bring them together.

As already seen in Kairi, Imarti Devi (Hema Singh) has been busy preparing for her son Anuj’s (Jay Bhanushali) wedding with Ambi (Preeti Chaudhary). Now, Mataji (Jayati Bhatia) will be shown as Imarti Devi’s childhood friend and she will be invited for Anuj’s wedding. Hence from tonight’s (14 May) episode, audiences will see Mataji’s family attending various functions during the wedding sequence.

While sources spoke to Preeti regarding the development, she said, “Yes, the Kairi team will be seen on the sets of Sasural,” however, she refused to divulge any further.

On the other hand, when sources called up Manish Raisinghania, better known as Siddharth of Sasural Simar Ka, he seemed to be clueless about the crossover episode.

 Colors’ new offering Kairi has opened on a good note and is receiving positive views from all ends. As seen last, Imarti Devi (Hema Singh) managed to convince Anuj (Jay Bhanushali) to leave Mala (Leena Jumani).

Being a dutiful son, Anuj gives before his mother’s wish. However, the viewers will get to see a major twist taking place where Anuj will declare that he won’t marry anyone else except for Mala. This will eventually compel Imarti to seek Mala’s hand for Anuj. In the upcoming episodes, Imrati Devi will finally give her consent over Anuj and Mala’s wedding.

She herself will speak to Mala’s parents and get the match fixed. The love birds will get engaged and the wedding preparations will commence. However, as per sources the relation won’t mature into wedding as some situations will change everything for Anuj and Mala.          

Confirming the engagement new, Leena Jumani said, “Yes, there will be an engagement ceremony on the show”.

Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions’ Kairi- Rishta Khatta Meetha aired on Colors, witnessed a high drama wherein Imarti Devi played by Hema Singh got to face a big blow.

So far the viewers must have seen Imarti being the unshakable wall and a proud woman, who never lets anyone break her words. But all her vanity got ruined when Anuj (Jay Bhanushali) confessed his love for Mala (Leena Jumani).

Now that Imarti Devi dislikes Mala and her mother, she isn’t willing to let Anuj marry the girl of his choice. The viewers will see much more drama in the upcoming episodes where Anuj will step out of the house leaving a fuming Imarti to wonder about his whereabouts. Furthermore, the family members will also be seen convincing Imarti to approve of Mala and Anuj’s wedding.

Here we bring exciting news for all the Colors’ new show Kairi viewers! The latest buzz making way is that Usha Nadkarni of Pavitra Rishta fame is set to enter in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal show.

This veteran actress, who is currently seen in Pavitra Rishta, would be seen in this Colors’ show in a special hour long episode that will be aired every Saturday. She will be seen speaking about the ongoing track, as like late Ashok Kumar in the legendary series Hum Log that aired on Doordarshan.

Incidentally, this will be Colors’ second show to have a celebrity as a narrator. The first one to start this trend was Chhal, which roped in Bollywood veteran Om Puri. When sources contacted Usha Nadkarni, she said, “Though I am not playing a character in the show, I am a very important and crisp part of it. I would conclude the whole week’s episode with my own style and I will say this catchy line “Dekhte Rahiye, Imarti Devi Ki Kahaani Meri Jubani” at the end. I am extremely excited and looking forward to the show.”

It’s a fact that in order to gain something you have to lose something. Life is all about compromises only. And this is true with TV actress Preeti Choudhary, who is currently seen as Ambi in Colors’ new show Kairi.

Preeti earlier also has been a part of many popular shows like Havan, Wo Rehane Wali Mehlo Ki, Hum Ladkiyaan and Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. But she is playing the lead for the first time with Kairi.

However, everything was not so easy for her, as to become an actress she had to lie to her parents. This is what Preeti has to say about the same, “I always wanted to be an actress. Some three years ago, while I was doing my B.com I told my parents that I have to visit Mumbai to attend a friend’s wedding. But my family is very conservative and they declined. My stubbornness won the battle in the end and I visited the city of dreams for 10 days. And all thanks to my school friends who stayed in the city, I gave some auditions and went back home to Ghaziabad (UP),”

On her second visit to the city she got selected for Hum Ladkiyaan and again she had to make an excuse from her parents, further to add she says," I told my parents that I have got a job in Mumbai; but they were reluctant. I, on the other hand, was sure of what I wanted to do so I came to Mumbai”.

What we are going to reveal today may surprise you all because this kind of thing happens rarely in television industry.

The popular trio of Star One’s vampire saga Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, i.e. Piya aka Sukirti Khandpal, Misha aka Priya Wal and Ruhi aka Roshani Shetty not only shared a great friendship on screen but they even have the same proximity despite the fact that PKYEK has gone off air.

Their friendship was proven when during the launch party of Colors’ new show Kairi, in which Roshani is playing a very important role as the second bahu of Imarti Devi, Sukirti and Priya had come to cheer her. They were seen chatting and having fun during the party and later on after the party was over they all went together for a drive.

Meanwhile, sources somehow managed to talk to Sukirti in between the hustle and bustle of the party and she said, “I am not part of the show; it’s just that Roshani is a good friend and we have come to meet her”.

Well we praise the attitude of Sukirti and Priya, in the industry when everyone is busy to build one’s own career; friends like them are surely a blessing!

He earned many praises playing Neev in Balaji’s Kayamath; this particular role made Jay Bhanushali a household name. However, when others expected Jay to rule the world of daily soaps, he shocked all by shifting his focus to reality shows.

Must say, here too he did a great job and played successful host to many of the reality shows including the most loved of all Dance India Dance. And now it’s almost after a long gap of four and a half years that the handsome actor is making a comeback with Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Kairi on Colors. The show is to go live from today, April 2, 2012.

Talking of his return, Jay said, “Well, four and a half years is a pretty long time. But with Kairi, I decided to come back in fiction genre. I have always taken up shows which take my career to new heights and I think Kairi is definitely one such show. I loved it after hearing its script”.

On being asked as to what made him pick a typical saas-bahu drama, Jay said, “I think saas-bahu rocks. It is the only space or genre that is actually working today and people love watching it. We have made this show for daily soap lovers who watch television at prime time. I am quite confident that people will like Kairi and I am hopeful that they will love my work too.”
