When Rakhi Sawant called off her engagement after her much hyped show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, it created quite a stir and now it seems Ratan Rajput aka Laliya of Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya He Kijo is on a similar track.

She was the second female actor participating on Imagine TV’s Swayamvar and got engaged to Delhi based Senior Developer at Adobe Systems, Abhinav Sharma on national television and since then the actress has been missing from the small screen.

Earlier it was said that Ratan is on a break and is spending time with Abhinav. However, nothing progressed on their relationship front. Little birdie chirps that Ratan has made up her mind and marriage is not definitely on the cards for her. She will not be getting married to Abhinav. It is heard that their relationship has gone kaput. 

When sources contacted, Ratan said, "It's a very sensitive issue. A lot of things are involved in this so I don't want to comment on it. I would love to be written about my work rather than making headlines with such news. As far is work is concerned, I was on a small break and I am ready to make a comeback if anything interesting comes my way. Marriage is not on the cards for the next two years."

Post her controversial stints on TV and few of her hard hitting digs taken on people like Baba Ramdev and Pakistani starlet Veena Malik, Rakhi is now in news for her recent item number Latto and her act in the Bengali remake of The Dirty Picture.

Yes, TDP has turned to be a golden goose for all and no one wishes to let go off it easily. Buzz has it that the film will now be made in Bengali with the sensational Rakhi in lead. The remake will be directed by Shatabdi Roy, a Member of Parliament who as per Rakhi is someone as big as Amitabh, Jaya Bachchan or Rekha. The controversial babe says that the film will be dirtier and filthier than the original one and will surely bring a surprise for all the viewers.

Talking about her entry into the film, she stated that it was due to her item number in Bengali movie titled Om Shanti, she grabbed this meaty role. And now one will see Rakhi stepping into Vidya Balan’s shoes and reprising her act. Needless to say Rakhi is fully confident that her act would be far better than that of Vidya. She said, “l will do better and hotter scenes in the Bengali remake. Even Vidya will be surprised after seeing my character. I will be better than her. The sari is meant to be taken off in films, not worn. Films become a hit because of this, not because of stars”.

A movie which has newcomers in it always needs something to attract the viewers and spice it up. What is better than a song, and much better than an item song? Well, an item girl can make a movie get the perfect attention it is supposed to get.

We have had a number of item songs like Munni, Sheila, Jalebi Bai, Razia and a couple of them more to add up to the list which have been making the movie lovers go gaga over the box office since the last three years.

Now it is the ultimate item girl, Rakhi Sawant once again who has been roped in the movie Rakhtbeez recently for an item song. She is seen setting the screen on fire with her hotness and dance.

As told earlier the film that showcases the number is Rakhtbeej, directed by Anil Ballani and produced by Om Sai Jyoti Films. It stars newbies Maanas Srivastava and Sayantani Nandi. And the good thing is that Rakhi’s item number in the film Latto has become a boon for it.

The self -proclaimed ‘original item queen’ of B-town, Rakhi Sawant is back in action and is all set to make people crazy with her latest raunchy number, Latto.

It is notable that in the past too Rakhi was known for her dance numbers and this was the prime factor that helped her bag attention from all. However, soon after that B-town got flooded with item girls and even the A-list actresses started taking on the item numbers, which made Rakhi take a back seat. But not anymore as the controversy’s favorite kid is ready to prove her mettle in dancing and is sure to give all the others a run for their money.    

Though this time around we’ll get to see Rakhi shaking her booty for a comparatively low-budget movie, Rakhtbeej but she is highly confident that the number is going to be the chartbuster. Titled as Latto, the song shows Rakhi at her oomph best. Apart from item numbers, we have heard that Rakhi is on for some serious business too. Yes, if believe the buzz then she will also be seen playing Bhanwari Devi in a film based on the infamous killing of a nurse  

Coming back to Rakhtbeej, the film is directed by Anil Ballani and is produced by Om Sai Jyoti Films. The film stars newcomers Maanas Srivastava and Sayantani Nandi in the lead. It might not be one of the classy films but one can surely catch Rakhi flashing off her hotness quotient as Latto!

"Actually he thinks that he can't dance and he thought that I will overshadow him. That's why he did this, but I love his song," the 33-year-old said on the sidelines of an event here.

Rakhi is said to have been angry with Dhanush for cancelling a performance where he was supposed to perform with Rakhi on "Kolaveri di".

However, Rakhi has now forgiven Dhanush, whose hit bi-lingual song has crossed over 50 million hits on YouTube. She now hopes to work with him in future.

"I love Dhanush and Rajinikanth. I don't want to comment on him because I really liked his song. Whatever he did to me, it's okay. I have forgiven him," said Rakhi.

"He even called me later and said that he didn't have time, so he couldn't make it. ... Maybe it's because his film was also going to release, but he said that next time he will do it," she added.

Rakhi was last seen in an item number in the film "Loot". Her TV show "Gajab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaaniyaan" kept her busy in 2011, and she also made an appearance on the finale of "Bigg Boss 5".

Few days back it was reported that Imagine TV is all set to shut down soon and it has sent shock waves in the entire television industry and we guess the celebrity, who's the most upset with this turn of events, is none other than Rakhi Sawant, who had grabbed eyeballs in the reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar on the channel.
