After touching a milestone of 1000 episodes the makers of Balika Vadhu, Sphere Origins is again set to hit the small screen with its new venture on Sony Entertainment Television which has been tentatively titled as Humsafar.

According to a source, it will be a story of two girls who will be friends and later on they will get married into the same house. One will have an arranged marriage, while the other one will have a love marriage. The story will revolve around the lives of the girls as how they will be treated in the family.

Now the buzz going around is that Himmanshoo A Malhotra who was last seen playing the role of Guddu in Zee TV’s Bhagonwali - Baante Apni Taqdeer and young actor Shaheer Sheikh who is playing the role of Anant in Nayva will be seen playing the role of the main leads. We also hear that one of the female lead will be a new comer.

Just a day back we informed you that Shaheer Sheikh has been signed to play an important role in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, Humsafar which has been produced by the makers of Balika Vadhu’ Sphere Origins. We also reported that he will share screen space with Himmanshoo Malhotra.

But this young lad, who has become a domestic name now, thanks to his spirited performance as Anant in Star Plus’ Navya, the Swastik Pictures productions which is going off air on 29 June 2012, announced that he is not doing any new show and tweeted,  “I am not doing Humsafar. It was offered to me but couldn’t do it as I have to go home for a month at least.”This piece of news is surely bad information for all the Shaheer fans.

Now we have dug deep and found other technical reasons of him shying away from Humsafar. Apparently, he is under a contract with Swastik as per which he is still in the period where his dates are blocked with the production house.

Furthermore it is also learned that Star Plus has had a meeting with Shaheer wherein they showed interest in retaining him in the channel by giving him some other show as part of the channel’s policy to retain its actors.

Well, looks Shaheer is still not at the losing front!

Television fans seem not content with the verdict that Star Plus has taken for its show Navya by wrapping it on 29 June. It is amazing to know that fans of Navya are trying their best to retain this Swastik Pictures’ love story on Star Plus.

In fact, there is a Facebook page called Save Navya For Peaceful Life wherein fans have been posting messages to save the show since the last 12 or more days now. The group has been sending mails, making calls and tweeting to save the show. They are really adamant to retain it. They are even reasoning with the channel as far as the time slot of the show is concerned.

Divya, an ardent fan from Kolkata has mailed to the Star Plus office. In the letters, she has stated that the 6 pm slot does not work in favor of the show and since the last three months, the channel had neither telecast a maha episode, nor have they gone ahead and promoted it in anyway. “Under such circumstances, the TRPs are bound to dip”, she pointed out.

Says lead actor Shaheer Sheikh on the development, “All I can say is that we will be back with another show together and continue to entertain the audience. After all, every good thing has to come to an end but I appreciate the ones who are tweeting and Facebooking for us.”

This is the supremacy of public guys; hope the channel will extend its notice.

 Started with a novel thought of introducing a new concept, Swastik Pictures’ Navya had built a great rapport among the masses.

The fresh pairing of Soumya Seth aka Navya and Shaheer Sheikh aka Anant did strike the right chord with the audience but somehow things went wrong in the long run. What was supposed to be a showcase of young souls and minds turned out to be another kitchen politics saga.

Dripping TRPs stood as a threat to the show and it as almost under the scanner when the officials at Star Plus offered it a second lease of life. Navya, as known was then shifted to the evening slot. However, this too couldn’t help the poor fate and latest buzz state that the show will breathe its last in the end week of June.       

Though Snigdha Pandey, who is portraying the character of Rama Bhabhi showed her ignorance about the news but the Shaheer has already confirmed about the same. By all means, Navya will wind up its tale in the coming weeks and bid adieu to all its fans!

In Swastik Pictures’ Navya aired on Star Plus, Soumya Seth as Navya will emerge as a strong woman and will help her mother-in-law Sugandha get her identity in the Bajpai family.

As seen, Navya; a silent sufferer, who undergoes hardships and is at the mercy of her in-laws, will go through a role reversal. The show will get more dramatic this week with high point tragic performance by Navya in protest of her mother-in-law.

In coming episodes viewers will see Navya becoming Sugandha's confidante who eventually encourages Sugandha to bring out her hidden talent. Navya will not only fight for herself but support her mother in law by promoting her cooking talent on a blog with the help of Anant (Shaheer Sheikh). A dramatic change will occur when Anant’s father Om, who has been rude to his wife Sugandha, will unknowingly see her recipes online and will decide to publish a book on it.

Television industry’s cute and young actress Soumya Seth has been ruling over millions of hearts through her brilliant acting in Star Plus’ love story Navya-Nayi Dhadhkan, Naye Sawal.

Her onscreen chemistry with co-star Anant aka Shaheer Sheikh is also loved by many and people just love watching these two together. On screen she comes across as a cute and simple girl in her daily show but off screen she is talkative and energetic. She is a bundle of energy and can talk about everything under the sun.

Soumya as in fashion defines herself to be very simple and elegant. She maintains to be more real rather than cosmetics. When sources asked her about fashion she said, “For me fashion is all about looking good and feeling good. Fashion defines you and accessories I don't like much but without cosmetics I would be so much real”.

It is my bread and butter for life and my shelter. Star Plus’ Navya has been winning love and appreciation from all its fans and this is the reason that despite being on the verge of getting axed, the show managed to bounce back.

However, the struggle for this Swastik Pictures production is still the same as they have to keep up the numbers high in order to sustain the competition. The creative’s are trying hard to gain some point on TRP ladder and in the upcoming episode viewers are going to witness some intimating rain sequence between Navya aka Soumya Seth and Anant aka Shaheer Sheikh.

Currently in the show, Anant and Navya might be pretending to have a duel of sorts, but deep within they are still in love with each other. And in a twist, the couple will soon get enraptured with emotions when touched by the first rain of the season. This will be the first rain sequence amongst Hindi shows before the monsoon hits the coast of this country.

When sources contacted Shaheer regarding the splashy scene, he said, “Yes, talks are on about the rain sequence but I don’t know much about it.” Although the actor refused to confirm the track, production team is all set to shoot the same.
