Vicky Donor earns Rs. 13.40 crores in first weekend
The moviegoers have proved that they love to watch the latest thing in the town rather than the repetitive content. And this is the prime factor behind the success of Vicky Donor, which is the first production of John Abraham and a directorial venture of Shoojit Sircar.

Based on quite an unusual concept that people shy away from talking, Vicky Donor has used sperm donation as the strong way of heading towards success.  Facts say that the film has earned Rs. 13.40 crores in the opening weekend.

Shoojit, who is quite thrilled with the response of the audience said, "I am happy with the kind of response Vicky Donor has got. While writing the script, me and my writers thought we will get a positive response from young boys and girls, but with the film becoming so popular among the masses, it feels great.”

“I never thought my film will get a U/A certificate from censors. It came as a shock for me. The success of the film is the biggest example of audience getting mature. I personally feel that the audiences are very clever and they know what they want to see,” he added.

The film that has created a positive buzz in and outside our country is doing really well and has added stars to the career of Ayushmaan Khurana and Yami Gautam. All thanks to Johnny boy.
