The journey started with a simple note but today the tale has become the voice of the nation, the voice which is roaring with the concept of remarriage and in return the voice is getting huge admires and praises.

Well, we are talking of Zee TV’s top rated show Punar Vivaah, which recently completed its journey of 100 episodes with the support of its loyal fans.

The entire cast and crew is in the mood of celebration and living a great moment, thanks to the superb star cast, Gurmeet Chaudhary (Yash) and Kratika Sengar (Aarti). A lot of credit of course goes to the leads which are playing the character Yash and Aarti with full liveliness that bound the audience to smile and cry with the tale.

Talking about the upcoming event the makers are planning to throw a party soon. Producer Summit Mittal on accomplishing this feat, says, "It's always an honor to see your baby growing day by day. I am very excited and joyful and so is my team. As the name of the show is Punar Vivah, the same way we will have punar Celebration very soon with 200 episodes again and again. I also want to express gratitude to all my viewers for their support as this wouldn't be possible

Shashi-Sumeet Mittal production house’s Punar Vivah aired on Zee TV had initially faced loads of criticism, but thanks to the rebuttal that has come via the way of creatives, all the critics have been made to shut their chops.

The show is slowly climbing up the TRP ladders and is going all the more strong day by day. Separation track of Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kratika Sengar) did bring in good numbers and the plot was appreciated by one and all.

As seen of late, the two are back in the Scindia house and are together for a new start. Along with Yash and Aarti’s life facing the ups and downs, Paridhi and Prateik are also encountering some tough moments. The Scindia family is against ladies in the house taking up jobs and the truth about Paridhi being a working girl has irked the elders in the family. Well, this is something our hero Yash will surely sort out amicably.

But the real concern is his relation with Aarti, which again has its base lying on a faux. No one is aware about the fact that Aarti is a divorcee not a widow. Now that Aarti knows of Yash’s hatred for falsehood, she is in a complete dilemma thinking of a way out.

Zee TV’s show Punar Vivah currently is one of the top rated shows on the channel. This Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s show is catering some emotional drama for the audience.

As last seen Gayatri (Zahida Parveen) forced Aarti (Kratika Sengar) to leave the house. She along with husband Suraj Pratap (Chetan Pandit) even tried to create misunderstandings between the couple by forcing Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) to sign divorce papers.

But, here is a piece of news for all the fans to rejoice as their favorite couple Aarti and Yash will finally re-unite. Now in the upcoming episodes Yash and Aarti will bump into each other at their children's school. However, they will not be able to talk to each other. The other members of the Scindia family will support Aarti and will want her back in the house and together they will plan a strategy wherein Yash will bring Aarti home.

When contacted, Kratika Sengar said, "Yes, I will be back in the house but you'll just have to wait and watch how and when that happens".

Well, hope the reunion of Aarti and Yash marks the beginning of love between them.

As reported earlier Zee TV’s Punar Vivah has become the number one show of the channel according to resent TRP report. Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd’s popular drama is all to set catch more eyeballs through the upcoming sequence.

The alchemy between Yash aka Gurmeet Choudhary and Aarti (Kratika Sengar) is getting special slope. On the other side Aarti is being forced to leave the house! And here we have more dope on the separation phase between the lead pair. For all that we know Yash’s parents have put a condition that they would provide Aarti with the money needed to save Ansh, only if she would leave Yash and go out of the house.

Now that Ansh is saved, Aarti’s ex-father-in-law Satyendra Debey (Amit Singh Thakur) decides to take Aarti to his place. Amidst major drama, Aarti will leave Yash’s home. And Yash who is still in the state of unconsciousness will know of all this only when he gets well.

The latest buzz making way from the little birdie is that Zee TV’s show Punar Vivah - Zindagi Milegi Dobara, starring hotshot Gurmeet Choudhary and gracious Kratika Sengar is set to welcome a new entrant.

We all know that despite being marketed well and having a unique concept, the show has not managed to put the TRP chart on fire.

But the makers are still hopeful of better days ahead and in an attempt to infuse some new lease of life to the plot, they have hired talented actress Ananya Khare to add more spice and drama. Ananya was last seen in Meri Maa on Life OK. Ananya will play the role of Gurmeet Choudhary’s bua in the show.

Her character will be emotional with a touch of negativity. Her entry will mark the beginning of problems in Aarti (Kratika Sengar) and Yash’s (Gurmeet Choudhary) life. Ananya will start shooting tomorrow (03 May 2012) and her entry is expected to air on Friday (4 May 2012).

“As I have not yet started shooting, I don’t have much information about my role. All I know that it is a negative one,” confirmed Ananya to the sources.

Though it fills us with great disappointment but one can’t rule out the facts which clearly state that Zee TV’s Punar Vivah, helmed by Shashi Summet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd hasn’t yet set the TRP charts on fire.

It is notable that there were high expectations from this re-marriage tale featuring TV’s handsome hunk Gurmeet Choudhary, adored for his role as Maan Singh Khurana from Geet Hui Sabse Parayi and Kratika Sengar of Jhansi Ki Rani fame. Talking on the same line, Gurmeet said, “For success or failure of a show, you cannot blame only the characters. Punar Vivah is only a month old and any new show takes around three months or more to really pick up. First one to two months are spent only to establish the storyline and various characters and that amount of time is necessary to develop a connect with the masses. One month is simply not enough to discuss such issues.”

He further added, “All my old shows like Ramayan and Geet, also took two-three months to get accepted. Punar Vivah is a new show and also a new concept. Then our time band is pitched against very established shows and it will definitely take time to woo the audience towards us”.

Well, Gurmeet indeed has a point and guess the critics must give the show its due time to prove its worth and we are sure CVs will come up with some TRP bagging sequences!

The concept of Zee TV’s Punar Vivah helmed by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd is quite a good one and with popular faces like Gurmeet Choudhary playing Yash and Kratika Sengar as Aarti, it has secured a place in the hearts of all.

But blame it on the slow pace, the show is rated around 2.3 TVR. However, Sumeet Mittal is not disappointed and feels that the wedding track of Yash and Aarti will bring in a change. Post marriage the show will pick up pace and it will bag more numbers. He said, “The real strength of Punar Vivah i.e. the interpersonal relationship between the couple will only start now once the remarriage takes place. The first month was used up to show the build up to the marriage (with all its resultant issues) and establish all the various characters. We are very confident that the numbers will now rise once the wedding is shown. Such a similar late spike had also taken place with our other hit Star Plus show Diya Aur Baati Hum as well”.

When asked about Gurmeet’s characterization which many critics felt wasn’t impressive initially, he added, “This was only expected as his Geet (Star One) lover boy image was very popular, hence it will take some time for the same to be erased from public conscious, which is now slowly beginning to happen.”

Well, we have faith in Gurmeet and the show. Hope it will rule the charts!

News coming from reliable sources, that Karan Tacker of Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain fame and Dance India Dance Season 2 winner Shakti Mohan will be seen performing at Zee TV’s popular show Punar Vivaah.

As Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kratika Sengar) finally to tie a knot in the show and we hear that Karan and Shakti will be adding up spice in the ceremony with their duet performance. Though other telly stars would also be performing in the wedding but Karan will be seen shaking his legs with Shakti Mohan on the song Sajda from the film My Name Is Khan, which will be an eye treat for the viewers to watch. 

When contacted Karan he says, "I am performing on the song Sajda from the movie My Name Is Khan with Shakti Mohan for the wedding of Aarti and Yash". On further questioning he says, "I am nervous to perform with Shakti Mohan as she has been a DID (Dance India Dance) winner and the lead of channel V's show D3 (Dil Dostii Dance). I am feeling bad for her as it takes an hour for me to learn a dance step but it takes only 5 minutes for her to pick a step but she's sweet and co-operative and helps me in learning the dance steps".
