Comedy Circus gets an extension on sony tv
The Optimystix’s super-popular comedy based reality show on Sony Entertainment Television; Comedy Circus has now become a wonderful medium to bring a smile on everyone’s lips. Recently it completed its 300 episodes and the team celebrated the success fully. 

Moreover, along with the success, the current season is coming to an end by this month. The show’s fans wore a gloomy expression after the news broke out. But folks, you can now heave a sigh of relief as Comedy Circus … has got an extension and it will continue to tickle the funny bone till July, 2012.

So, its current season will end in July and its next season will hit the screens from August, 2012 which will continue till December.

Producer Vipul Shah confirmed the development and said, “That’s true… the season of Kahani Comedy Circus Ki will continue till end of July whereas the next season would begin thereafter.”

Sony TV’s Optimystix’s production Comedy Circus has been tickling the funny bones of the masses since 2007. And this laughter riot is all set to complete 300 successful episodes. Very well known for her gimcrack laugh Archana Puran Singh seems highly excited about the triple-crown development.

To commemorate the achievement, the makers will bring in every comedian who has been associated with the show since its first season. The key performers during this special episode will be Shweta Tiwari, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Sharad Kelkar and Ali Asgar. They will be performing hilarious acts and gags. The judges, as we know, are Archana Puran Singh, Rohit Shetty and Sohail Khan. Shruti Seth will be the host for this glitzy evening.

When contacted comedian Rajesh Kumar regarding the episode, he said, “Yes, I am very much a part of 300th episode. We haven’t shot as yet so I can’t say what it’s going to be like but I am sure it will be great fun and old memories will get refreshed. Audience should gear up for loads of comedy.”

Saturday (19 May 2012) will mark the completion of 300 episodes. Congratulations to the team of Comedy Circus, hope you will always make your fans LOL!

It is known to everyone that two of Karisma Kapoor’s biggest hits are counted as Raja Hindustani and Raja Babu. And recently these films were almost brought back to life on the TV show Comedy Circus where the actress appeared as a celebrity judge for a forthcoming episode.

One can call it a reunion of sorts when Karisma Kapoor met Judge Archana Puran Singh. After a hiatus of 16 years, this was the first time that these two actresses were meeting.

The duo was last seen together in Raja Hindustani but soon after the film was over they both lost touch. And it was only on the sets of the comedy show that the two gorgeous ladies were back on stage. And they hit it off right where they left. Laughing, giggling and gossiping were on top of the check list as these two caught up with each other's life.

But it didn't end there. After Raja Hindustani, it was time for Raja Babu to be revived. Though Govinda wasn't present, his nephew and popular standup comedian Krushna Abhishek dressed up like Raja Babu for his act with Sudesh Lahiri. Karisma Kapoor joined them on the stage to add some original thumkas to the act.

Sony Entertainment’s reality show Kahaani Comedy Circus Kii has always managed to make its audience enjoy every bit of happiness through their acts.

Every time they bring some new scheme in the show, and this time they are back with Teen Ka Tadka. A reliable source informed that there will be five jodis, and some faces like Rucha Hasabnis (aka Raashi of Saath Nibhana Saathiya) will also be there.

The first jodi includes, Anoop Soni, Mantra and Divyanka Tripathi. The second one being of Rakhi Sawant, Sudesh and Krishna, third jodi will comprise Bharti, Purbi and Siddhartha Jadhav ; fourth being Kapil, VIP and Sumona and last one will consist Rajeev Thakur, Rucha and Suhasi.

These actors will as usual personate different avatars, Divyanka will be seen portraying anarkali while Sumona, Kapil and VIP will perform on andha kannon and lastly Bharti, Siddharth and Purbi will play as teachers.

Purbi said, “I have been anchoring for quite some time and now that I am participating its all the more fun. Furthermore, I love it when females have the instinct to make people laugh and Bharti is one such person. It was a wonderful experience to work with her.”
