SAB TV’s sitcom show R K Laxman Ki Duniya basically deals with the issues faced by a common man in day to day life in a comical vein. And the makers Hats off and Dharmesh Mehta Productions have managed to strike the right chords with the masses.

Now the buzz state that the creative’s have decided to introduce a new Punjabi Chopra family to further up the entertainment quotient. Actors, namely, Jaanvi Sangwan, Pankaj Kalra and child artist Nikunj Pandey have been roped in to be a part of the family. Jaanvi was last seen in Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi (Star One) and Pankaj has featured in movies like Emotional Atyachaar. Young Nikunj Pandey had acted in Mrs and Mr Allahbadwale on SAB TV.

Jaanvi, Pankaj and Nikunj would essay Nelu Chopra, Balbir Chopra and Happy Chopra, respectively. Chopras will be loud, fun loving and full of life. They will come to Mumbai from Punjab to settle down permanently.

Dharmesh Mehta, the co producer of the show, merrily confirmed the news and said “Yes, this particular family is going to be introduced in the show and I hope audience loves it.”

Well, with such a comic tale show will defiantly play more fun and masti.

Gokuldham Society has finally got its new look in tarak mehta ka oolta chasama

The viewers of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah have something joyful to look ahead as Gokuldham Society is all set with its new look.

Embellished with beautiful colors, new Balconies, modern look, a Krishna idol on top of the society, and many more lovely additions... there is so much more to the society. And producer Asit Modi created a humor out saying, "But the residents are still all the same. They haven't changed at all”.

Sources say that the actors of the show were not allowed to see the new look and the entire building was covered with 1100 meters of cloth. But once the cloth was removed, all the members broke into song and dance. "It was decked up like a new bride and looking so beautiful we had not seen the new Gokuldham Society.  Most beautiful is the Krishna idol atop the society building. We are all really impressed with the producer Asit Modi," said Dilip Joshi.

Gadha Prasad to get kidnapped in Chidiya Ghar kidnapping will soon take place in Garima Productions’ Chidiya Ghar aired on SAB TV. The story is unique for its distinctive character names and revolves around the members of the Narayan family. And now the audiences will witness the abduction of Gadha Prasad, who is the servant of this family.
A reliable source that three goons will kidnap Gadha Prasad and will ask for a ransom of five lakhs from the family. These hooligans will try to bully him by showing a punch, and Gadha Prasad, who is very innocent, will not understand that they are trying to bully him and he will try to show them the correct way of punching. “In the process, he will actually hit them which will enrage these guys and they will kidnap Gadha Prasad,” reveals the source.

But the best part will be that the Narayan family will be able to rescue him. When  contacted Jeetu Shivhare, who essays the character of Gadha Prasad, he confirmed the news saying, “My character will be kidnapped but luckily he will be rescued with the help and support of the Narayan family.”
The kidnapping sequence will go on air tonight, but the rescue track will be aired next week.

R K Laxman Ki Duniya is a comedy show on India's SAB TV starring Radhika Vidyasagar, Naina Apte, Atul Parchure, Vandana Pathak and Vinay Yedekar.

A retired Sanskrit teacher.Is not completely against the use of English but who strongly feels that either the Mother tongue or the national language should be used for communication.

Bhavana Vasavade (Vandana Pathak) Bhavesh’s wife. A housewife who come from a small town of Gujrat. Plays  very innocent and and dedicated wife. Lata Vasavade (Nupur Bhatt) Bhavesh and Bhawana’s daughter.  A simple girl who hates going to school. She is forced to learn singing.

Asha Vasavade (Afhsa Musani) Bhavesh and Bhawana’s younger daughter.  A little cunning in nature. Is quite smart and intelligent.

Ambika Vasavade (Hemlai Joshi) Krishkant’s daughter. A very well educated female. Very emotional.Loves to eat, and tries every possible way to loose weight which fails. Is also a  classical dancer. Is often seen busy with the gypso puzzle or the crossword of the newspaper. Not married.

Piyush Vasavade (Krishna Bharadwaj) Krishkant’s younger son. A  Happy go lucky person. Is  a graduate. He has a unique  habit of trying his hands on various business.  Each time he find himself in loss.

Priyamvada Vasavade (Shruti Rawat) Piyush’s wife. She comes from a very rich family. Is madly in love with Piyush. Knows  nothing about the household chores especially cooking but loves to try her hands on  it.

Kaveri Kulkarni (Nayana Aapte) A typical Maharashtrian lady who is very interested in cricket, and can thoroughly recite the history of cricket. Supports her daughter – in – law and often lands up in arguments with her son. Loves her grandson whom she had named Sachin and forecasts him to be a cricketer.

Ramesh Kulkarni (Vinay Edekar) Kaveri’s son. A government employee. Is very kind hearted, always ready to help his friends and relatives and this puts him in trouble every time. He does not like his son’s interest in television and cricket. He is the kind of person who would opt for Satyagrah to protest against something that he feels is not right.

Neena Kulkarni (Radhika Vidyasagar) Kaveri’s daughter in law. A very sweet lady and a very good singer. She takes the credit of kavita Krishnamurthi ‘s acheivements, because she strongly believes that it is she who gave her the opportunity, Neena offered her seat to kavita and so the credit goes to her. Enjoys the household chores.

Sachin Kulkarni (Hardik Sangani) Kaveri’s grandson. A great admirer of cricket. Hates to study and wants to either watch the cricket match or play himself. Often lands up arguing with his father.
