Divya Oberoi is now known as Ojaswi Oberoi on small screen who has worked in Behenein too. The leading lady of Aasman se Aage changed her name on being asked by some astrologer to have a mounting success in career. The actress has her own take on reality shows too.

"My numerologist advised me to change my name from Divya to Ojaswi”, says Ojaswi. She expressed her take on reality shows also which she considers a futile stuff to boost stress levels in participants. She says, "I believe people think a lot today. They have become very ambitious. They forget that they have other responsibilities and personal lives. Somewhere they don't realize that they are going in the wrong direction and therefore get stressed."

Well, reality shows have the only option of mounting excitement levels in order to maintain TRP. Name change in tinsel town and small screen is not new but with the rumors of Aasman se Aage’s wind up, who knows Ojaswi might need to change the astrologer.

Recently we reported you about the presence of child actress Ahsaas Channa, who has been assign to play a crucial role in the show and seasoned actress Usha Nadkarni in the daily.

And now the buzz states that one more talented actress Maninee Mihir Mishra will enter in the show to join the star cast. She is presently seen in Life OK's dance based show Aasman Se Aage. According to source, Maninee will play the character of Illa Ramani, a high profile journalist, who will play an important role in the track.

When sources contacted the beautiful actress Maninee, she seemed quite excited about the challenging role and stated, "Yes I am playing a high profile journalist. People see me as a journalist and I would love to play the character on screen and also Sourab and Mukul are very good friend and I loved the character."

Looks like the real drama in Madhubala is yet to start, with Vivian Dsena making an entry as superstar RK, we just wonder how life is going to change for our Madhubala aka Drashti Dhami!

Despite being launched amidst huge pomp and show, Life OK’s two month old show Aasman Se Aage seems to have failed badly.

Owing to which the channel has decided to wrap up the show. The show produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe was launched with a lot of promise, and had got a good response from the industry for being different in concept. But looks like the makers will not get the time and support of the channel to show something different to the audience.

The inside news is that the channel has decided to wrap up the show. They have given the makers a period of one month to end the proceedings. We hear that Aasman Se Aage will be ending on 13 July 2012. And the reason provided by the channel is that they are changing their programming line-up and did not wish to retain Aasman!

When contacted, producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true that Aasman Se Aage is going off air in a month’s time.”

We get to understand that the entire cast and crew of the show are very disappointed with the sudden development.

Hmmm, we wish best to the entire lineup for further life.

This is definitely not something new to the world of TV shows as there are many who actually get deviated from the path; they had initially started on with.

In the recent past we came across many shows which were accused of leaving the base behind and catering things in order to bag high TRPs. Shows like Star Plus’ Pratigya, Colors’ Balika Vadhu and a few more were amongst the ones questioned of this divergence from the core concept. And we guess here we have one more daily soap to join the league.

Well, we are talking of Life Ok’s newly launched Aasman Se Aage, which is said to be based on the concept of showing the reality behind the Reality Shows. Though it indeed started off in the right manner and even showcased the harsh truth aptly to some extent but now it just looks like losing the grip.

The urge of showing reality has brought in various sequences which just don’t seem to be in sync with reality shows’ and their concepts. Be it the love track introduced between Akshat (Siddhant Karnick) and Meenakshi (Ojaswi Oberoi) or the plotting done by DC (Apoorva Agnihotri), everything sound a bit over the top.

This makes us wonder if the makers have started incorporating things, which have no connection with the true concept, just to bag more of TRPs!

Hope the creatives will soon shift the focus on Meenakshi and her journey towards success rather than spoiling the drama with undesired twists!

As last updated, Mouli Ganguly will make an exit from Sagar Arts and Nilanjana 72 Degree Northe's production show Aasman Se Aage. She was seen as one of the hosts in the series. Now with her exit, Yoshika will enter as Zoya; the new host on the show. Names like Barkha Bisht, Kishwer Merchant and Sakshi Pradhan were also in contention to bag the role of Zoya. Apurva Agnihotri  is one of the established actors in Hindi television world but was seen missing from acting for a long time. Last seen in Bidai aired on Star Plus, Apurva made his ironic comeback with the Life OK’s show Aasman Se Aage.

He is playing main lead with his dashing and unscrupulous acting as DC (Dev Chopra) who exploits people and the situations they are put in to derive higher TRPs for his dance reality show. The show produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe focuses on the reality behind reality shows.

Apurva who plays the central character in the show is very happy with the character sketch provided to him. He said, “DC is a multi-shaded character, and I opted to play this role because of the unusual attributes in him. There is a novelty factor in it and one cannot predict the shades of expressions that the man gives when he is put in various situations. DC as a person cannot take failures. The best part about the character is that every person will have a different take on it.”

Apurva expresses his happiness at the positive response his show has garnered and says, “I am not being pompous here. But we expect Aasman Se Aage to be the #1 show by July. It is really tough to crack a show like this, as a very thin line separates a usual show and a different one”.

Two television celebrities, Shilpa and Apurva Agnihotri who were recently attending a party at a sub urban hotel got busted by cops. It so happened that the cops came to know that drugs were being consumed in the party and they raided the place. From amongst all the people who were caught at the site were TV actor Shilpa and Apurva. Well, this is something really sad for their fans to know.

They were not the only ones who were caught by the cops, but the players of the IPL Pune Warriors team Wayne Panel and Rahul Sharma were also busted by the cops. Their blood and urine samples were taken and the result will show if they are guilty or not.

This show aims at highlighting the true colors of realty TV. After hearing a lot about the show, its star cast, and a lot more, now we have come to know a few details about the protagonist of the show Meenaxi to be played by Ojaswi Oberoi.

It is notable that Ojaswi was last seen as Anokhi in Star Plus’ Behenein. In Aasman Se Aage she will play a dancer who is looking for the right opportunity to make her dreams come alive. Very few know that Ojaswi is very close to the character she plays in reel life. The actress is a trained Kathak dancer and also happens to be a big fan of Madhuri Dixit.

Life OK's upcoming serial Aasman Se Aage has already earned much popularity with twin reasons, one being of it based on the pros and cons of reality shows and secondly, it’s a comeback show of the popular actor Apurva Agnihotri.

And now the buzz is that Aasman Se Aage will cast some more popular faces, like Amit Behl (currently seen in Colors’ Veer Shivaji and Shravani Goswami from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, who will be playing the role of Akshat's (Siddharth Karnik) parents. In this show Akshat will fall in love with a small town girl during a reality show.

When contacted Amit he confirmed the news and said, “I have just started shooting for the show and so far it has been a pleasure working with the team. My character is a positive one and I am enjoying it,”

Speaking about her role, Shravani said, “Yes, I am essaying a small role in the show as I am already occupied with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. But it’s been great working for Aasman Se Aage.”

Sources close to the production house updated that his look in the show is inspired by the Pakistani show host, Begum Nawazish Ali. It is notable that Begum was also a part of Bigg Boss 4.

In the show, Rajesh’s character Sanam will be shown as a talented choreographer but will fail to earn desired fame. Hence, he will dress up like women to gain public eye. Talking of the show, he said, “I have been lucky as I have always done different kind of roles. Till date, my fans recognize me for the characters I have played. I was the devil in an ad campaign, a gay in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, and now Sanam, in Aasman Se Aage.”

Adding further, Rajesh stated, “Eventually due to some circumstances, Sanam will get an offer to judge a reality show, for which he has dress up like women. He will only dress up, but not talk or behave like one.”

As reported, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 - Dancing with the Stars ace-choreographer, Nishant was also set to make his acting debut with the show. Today, we bring to you some more names that are expected to be part of the venture.

A source informs, "Monica Khanna, better known for roles such as Swati of Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya and Roshni of Sony TV's Mahi Way, is expected to be a part of the new show as a dancer. Harsh Rajput, last seen in Dharam Veer, will also essay a pivotal role."

"As the show is about dance, these two, along with Nishant would be a few people who would be participating in the dance competition", adds the source.

Both Monica and Harsh remained unavailable for comment but an anonymous source from the production house confirmed the buzz.
