Life OK's Alakshmi to go on air from May 28
In the recent past we got many updates regarding Hats Off Production's new show Alakshmi, which is said to be a family saga.

And today we have come to know the date when it will finally hit the screens. Buzz has it that the show by Hats Off will go live from 28th May 2012 and incidentally another of Hats Off’s show Byah Hamari Bahu Ka, Sony TV, will also be aired from the same date.

Talking about the show, Sujay Reu of Zee TV’s Ram Milaayi Jodi and Helly Shah of Star Plus’ Gulaal fame will be seen playing the leads. Other list of actors include Supriya Pathak, Anang Desai, Falguni Desai, Neeraj Kshetarpal , Ujjwal Chopra, Priyamvada Sawant, Sunil Vishrani , Purvi Vyas and Disha Savla.

“The show is most likely to go on air sometime this month but I am not the right person to talk about it. However, it is a good show with a good story line”, says Anang Desai.

Well, let’s hope that the show will be a hit.

We had earlier updated you about Star Plus’ Gulaal fame Helly Shah aka Talli being roped in to play the female lead in Hat’s Off Productions’ new show, Alakshmi to be aired on Life OK.  

As said, the show is going to hit the screen post IPL and for now the makers are busy roping in more actors to the cast of the daily. Latest buzz updating the status of stars in the show says that seasoned actors Falguni Desai and Neeraj Kshetarpal have also given their approval to be the part of the star cast.

Gujarathi actress Falguni Desai –who was earlier seen in Hat’s Off Productions’ Shree on Zee TV – will play the role of the female lead, Lakshmi’s (Helly Shah) maami, Bhadrakali. Her character will have a grey shade and she won’t be very fond of her niece Alakshmi.

Neeraj Kshetarpal will essay the role of Bhadrakali’s husband in the show. He was also seen in Rajshri Productions’ Main Teri Parchhain Hoon on Imagine. While talking to the sources, Falguni confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am doing the show. I will play the female lead’s aunt but it’s too early to talk about my character.”
