I will get to portray different emotions in Madubala said Drashti Dhami
Television actress Drashti Dhami, who has been known for her remarkable performance in Geet popular show aired on Star One. She jabbed million hearts by her joyous acting. Her onscreen chemistry with Gurmeet Choudhary was so charring that it impressed the masses. Now the heartthrob beauty will see in a new show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon airing on Colors.

When sources got in touch with the actress to know more about her personal and professional life she appeared to be quite an unaware person. Upon asking about the story of her latest show post its debut episode she said, “I don’t know for I have yet to start shooting”.

When asked about the chemistry of her with co-star Vivian D’sena, she replied with an aggressive humor and said “Why do you only talk about our chemistry you should ask about my track.” So when sources asked to elaborate on her track, she gave a winding answer and said “As I get to play a Bollywood heroine, who did not want the arc lights, I will get to portray different emotions in this non saas bahu show.”

In the end of conversation when source asked her about TRP’s fanda, her statement was “I don’t care about TRPs”, which may come as a real shocker for the producer of Madhubala, Saurabh Tiwari.

Anyways, we just want to wish her all the very best.

Punar Vivah has bagged the top rank amongst all Zee TV shows

Zee TV’s so far less acknowledged show Punar Vivah produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt. Ltd is now getting bounteous response from its audience.

In the TAM ratings of week 19, Punar Vivah bagged 2.9 TVR. It has clearly emerged as the slot winner across GECs. Producer Sumeet jubilantly talked to the source and said, "The story is getting back to its emotional crust and hence, it is being liked by the viewers. Currently, we are concentrating on the story and not on the numbers. If the story works, numbers will automatically come”.

Heartthrob actor Gurmeet Choudhary aka Yash excitedly shared his notion and said, "I really feel lucky as this is my third show that has managed to be number one after Ramayan and Geet. I remember when I had taken up Geet, I wasn’t sure if it would top the numbers, however it did. But when I took up Punar Vivah the pressure was even more as people were expecting a lot from me. There were a lot of them who thought I shouldn’t have taken up the project but with the help of the entire team and our producers, the show has managed to top the chart."

Well, slowly and steadily the show has finally managed to leave a mark and the success journey has just started!

So finally we have an authentic confirmation about Saurabh Tewary's Nautanki Films’ new show to be aired on Colors.

Ever since the news had hit the town, there were a lot of speculations made around the show’s storyline and its lead actors. First we were updated that the show is based on cross border romance and will have Drashti Dhami aka Geet and Vivian Dsena aka Abhay as the lead pair. Later, we got the news that the show is loosely based on the unrequited romance of Bollywood icons Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

Ha! It was certainly a chaotic development. Anyway, now we have come to know of the final call being taken by the makers. An insider revealed that it is no more a cross-border romance as the script is being re-written. In fact, the story will now see the leads depicting actors on the screen which makes us feel that it is indeed going to be the Dilip-Madhubala love tale.

Further, presence of Drashti and Vivian has been locked and earlier titled as Shikhar; the show has been re-christened to Kathputli. Other than these two, Rakhi Vijan, Bhupinder Singh and Raj Zutshi will play prominent roles. Sushmita Mukherjee, last seen in Zee TV's Chhoti Si Zindagi, has been signed in for a cameo whereas Lalit Parimoo and Shagufta Ali would be seen in vital roles.

The work has started on full swing and most probably this new offering will air post IPL. We just hope that Saurabh Tewary doesn’t make any further change in his plans!
