Sony’s extremely popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati is set to hit the screen once again with its sixth season wherein superstar Amitabh Bachchan will bring formally the bundle of fun and entertainment with ample of knowledge once again.

Promos of Big B suggesting all to participate in the game show have already gone air and so far they are giving a hint to all that like all the previous seasons, this one too will bag immense success. For the tech savvy person that Amitabh is, he didn’t miss the chance of updating his fans about his first look from the show

This quiz reality show produced by Big Synergy has gained immense popularity and has always managed to gain superb TRPs and the latest info we have received is that it will more likely go on air in the month of August 2012. KBC will air on Sony Entertainment Television and is currently in its pre-production stage.

When got in touch with Anita Kaul Basu, Director at Big Synergy, she said, “We are yet to finalize on the theme and concept. It’s actually too early to talk about it but yes, tentatively the show will go on air in August. But I cannot really confirm as the channel has to take the final call.”

Hold on to your breath guys, this season will create a range of happiness.

Kushal Tandon is bagging praises from all over for his role as Virat in Star Plus’ show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He has been rising high on popularity meter and girls are going crazy for his dashing looks. 

While speaking with sources, the actor shared his love towards profession and said, “Acting is my passion and for that I have even got a degree from the New York School of Acting”.  He is quite clear in his mind that he only wants to act and continues saying, “I am not interested in singing and dancing like my character (Virat) in the show who is learning to sing. I would love to do intense characters”.

On being asked as to how the hunk prepares himself for the heavy duty emotional scenes in his show, he said, “I just read my lines and it’s enough for me to deliver the good.”  Further on being probed as to which are the actors he likes from the TV industry, Kushal stated, “I don’t watch much TV but from Bollywood I like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.”

He also does not believe in going to parties just to widen up the network in order to get work and says, “I rather let my work speak for myself.”

The latest song from Ram Gopal Varma’s film Department has made its way on the internet and be sure of the fact that this track, titled Kammo, will be played during marriages. Buzz says that Kammo is basically a wedding song where we see Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt shaking a leg together.

As one can see in the song they are seen celebrating the wedding of Rana Daggubati and Anjana Sukhani. The lyrics of Kammo Haan tu toh beta gaya kaam se…Ho gaya tera kaam somewhat remind you of the song from Masti Ek Kunwara Phir Gaya Maara, since both the songs poke fun at the groom!

Well, while Ram Gopal Varma is known to play with his camera angles, the songs of his movies are not really in the playlist of listeners! However, with Department, RGV, against his grain, has included some foot tapping numbers in the music album. Nathalia Kaur’s hot song Dan Dan Cheeni and Sanjay Dutt’s Thodi Si Jo Pi Li Hai are already ruling the charts.

After Agneepath, Sanjay Dutt has become an attraction and the producers are leaving no stone unturned to encash his popularity to the fullest. Keeping up the trend, the makers of Department have decided to treat the audience with a special song to be sung by Sanjay Dutt.

Big buzz is that Kancha Cheena of Agneepath is all set to shake the musical chords of the audience with his special song in his forthcoming Department. Helmed by Ram Gopal Varma the flick features Amitabh Bachchan and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. As per the industry sources Sanju Baba is going to sing a peppy edgy number featuring him, Amitabh Bachchan and Rana Daggubati. The track has been composed by Sandeep Chowta and the choreography would be done by Ahmed Khan.

Sources further reveal that the actor will himself take the charge of the song which would be appended on to the Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial for the end credits. Choreographer Ahmed Khan confirmed the news and added, “Yes, we are shooting a song for Department. It's a music video to be sung by Baba (Sanjay). It's an edgy song with no dancing”.

Guys let’s recall here that earlier Sanju created magic with his voice with Aye Shivani and now he is all geared up to please his enthusiasts with this peppy number! Way to go Sanju Baba!

Ram Gopal Varma in the past has come up with films like Satya and Company, but the filmmaker claims that his forthcoming film Department is distinct from his past projects and says that it caters to the masses.

"Department is not based on gangsters. But yes with Department, we are talking about the police department and with police department... and somewhere gangsters are also there," the 50-year-old said here.

"Having said that, the film’s format is very different from Company and Satya. It is more of a mass entertainer format...," he added. Apart from the above revelation, RGV was also, like as usual, full of praises for Nathalia Kaur, who will be seen performing an item number in the film.

This Brazilian girl seems to have one the heart of RGV in first meet itself, as soon after the offer for item dance, the latter next stunned everyone by offering her a film opposite Rana Daggubati. Meanwhile, her item number Dan dan cheeni from the film is already creating waves and RGV had declared it as the best song ever in this genre.

Department, releasing May 18, features Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Only then we could find out how true RGV’s claims are!

Actor Shakti Arora, who recently proved his brilliance as host for Imagine TV’s Gyaan Guru, is happy that his stint in the show was quite memorable.

Though he is a bit disappointed with Imagine shutting down but then he believes that everything happens for good and he wants to stick with the good memories only. Highly elated with the praises coming his way, Shakti said, “I have been in the industry for quite some time now, but after watching me on Gyaan Guru, my grandfather complimented me for the first time. He actually liked my style of anchoring”.

It is notable that Shakti’s grandfather also hails from the world of entertainment. He is none other than veteran actor, producer and director Chandrashankar, who is also the founder and trustee of CINTAA.

On being quizzed about his grandfather’s reaction over his act, Shakti stated, “He always appreciates good work. So I knew that I would get compliment from him the day I put up a good performance. And yes, this time around he did pat my back”. The stunning actor even admitted that he has always looked up to the megastar Amitabh Bachchan while playing the host.
