We must say, Star Plus’ upcoming telefilm series Teri Meri Love Stories is enough to cover the whole media gossips these days, as the project making in every next headline and gaining media bites.

Famous faces and talented production houses are teaming up to make every story a hit on screen and entertain the audience at its maximum. Some of the producers are assigning the heart throb actors to collect attention, while other side some are going over the countries to shoot its story.

Well, guys we are talking about the Cinevistaas Production house, which has just completed a short film with Karan Singh Grover and Anita Hassanandani and is all set to shoot it’s another short film on the same series.

Buzz states that producer and director have decided to shoot the next in the beautiful locale of Macau. The short film is a love story based on a Honeymoon sequence of a couple. And speaking about the casting of this short film than Shaheer Sheikh popularly known as Anant of Navya has been finalized to play main lead and Mahhi Vij who was last seen in Colors’ Laagi Tujse Lagan will play the female lead in the telefilm.

Producer Venita Coelho confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am at Macau for the recce. Shaheer and Mahhi Vij will be playing leads in the telefilm”.

Hope the story will impress the audience.

This piece of news will surely sadden the fans of Bharat Kaul and Charu Asopa, who were earlier on the headlines to be in the final list of casting in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, produced by Sphere Origins.

But without a valid reason they were abruptly removed from the show at the last minute. Buzz making its way says the reason for this is that the story has been tweaked by the channel. However, the recent development in the script has forced certain changes, and Bharat Kaul’s character, who was earlier roped to play the father of lead Sahil (played by Ashish Kapoor) has been erased.

While on the other side, Charu Asopa, who was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on Life OK, was to play the sister of the male leads. But she has also been ousted and the creative team is now looking for a younger face.

Bharat Kaul expressed displeasure saying, “Yes, I have been informed today that I am not needed for the Sony show. The reason given was that with the script change, the father’s role has been removed. I had got many other offers, and to reject an actor after everything is finalized is not done. I ask the concerned people – ‘If an actor had refused to do the show at the last minute, how would they have reacted?’. Anyway, I guess this is part of life.”

Charu Asopa too echoed her sentiments and said, “I am not doing the show anymore. Everything was fixed and I was to start shoot when I was informed that they needed a younger looking face to play the sister.”

All we can say is this is part and parcel of the television industry!

Here we bring a wonderful piece of news for the fans of sitcom show on SAB TV Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo that the show is all set to land its second inning with a new name Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai wrapping with the old actors Apara Mehta, Tiku Talsania, Rajiv Thakur, Shalini Khanna and Mugdha Chapekar.

The entire cast and crew is ready to bring back the magic with the cast of Sajan Re… in an entirely new show, instead of launching a sequel.

The promos of Swapnil Joshi being a part of the serial are out. Swapnil, who is currently spreading his magic with Eka Lagnachi Dusri Gosht on Zee Marathi, is making a comeback on the channel with the same production house.

But the viewers will miss a vital face from Sajan Re series, Sumeet Raghavan, who was the most important part of the show. He won’t be a part of the series due to his prior commitments. Therefore the makers have roped in Swapnil as a lead opposite Mugdha Chapekar.

Though Golmaal would have the cast of Sajan Re…, the story won’t be on the similar lines and will narrate a different and unique tale.

So get ready to experience the magic of the old mad Sajan Re… family with a tadka of Swapnil in it.

Sunshine Productions has now launched The Buddy Project on Channel V, which again talks of youth and their life.

The show, which has now gone on air, is a young and peppy one which revolves around the relationship between a motivational teacher, played by Manav Gohil, and eight young kids. It will capture the varied and diverse emotional connect between the kids and the educator. Manav, as Aniruddh, will be a strong guiding force who will teach the greater meaning of life to the kids without losing on the innocence and fun part.

The young group comprises of newbies Fahad Ali, Jatin Sharma, Cheshta Bhagat, Palak Jain, Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh, Nikhil Mehta, Krishna Patel and Bharti Kumar. The young bloods will be seen as different avatars, be it a prankster, a lover boy, tomboy et al.

Producer Sudhir Sharma said, “It’s a youth-based show on Channel V and airs at 6 pm. The show basically targets the young audience. There’s also a repeat telecast at 10.30 pm and umpteen times the next day.”

When asked about the TRPs and other competition, he said, “Well it surely won’t affect the TRP’s of Na Bole… as the target audience is quite different and Channel V is not a GEC but a YEC (Youth Entertainment Channel). We are sure that many of those kids who see the show can relate to one or the other character of the show.”

Khatron Ke Khiladi, which has been airing on the channel Colors’ for the past five years, is once again back to show the talent that the people of the country hold.

After Akshay hosted the show for three seasons letting Priyanka Chopra step into his shoes once, this time it is Ajay Devgn who is heard to be replacing the Khiladi as the host on the show.

The adventure reality show will have a new face now and this might help the channel in getting new TRP and much more money. After coming in a fighter avatar in the movie Singham, Ajay Devgn fits as the host of the show which has much more action to come his way. This is not the first time that the actor will be seen on small screen. He has been a part of Emotional Atyachaar and more shows on the small screen.

Akshay refused to be a host for the new season because he wants to be with his wifey Twinkle Khanna who will give birth to their second baby after some months. That is great and we are not upset with the actor for not being a part of the show.

Finally the search of the title ended upon Adhoori Kahaani, the upcoming fiction show on Sony Entertainment Television.

Sri Adhikari Brother’s creation show will feature Raqesh Vashisht, who has last seen in Star Plus’ popular show Maryada and Aamna Shariff, who made her acting debut in Balaji Teleflim’s production Kahin To Hoga, essaying the lead roles in this new tale.

On the other hand, renowned actress Deepshikha Nagpal has been approached to play the female lead’s mother. Now talking about concept and title of the show, the show titled Adhoori Kahaani, will be the love story of a middle class man and a rich girl, and will trace their life from the point of falling in love to getting married and eventually parting ways, and will go on to show how their love gets them together yet again.

Aamir Ali was supposed to play the other lead in the show but this is not confirmed yet. The show is expected to go on floors soon and will be one of the next few fiction launches on the channel.

Just a day back we informed you that Shaheer Sheikh has been signed to play an important role in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, Humsafar which has been produced by the makers of Balika Vadhu’ Sphere Origins. We also reported that he will share screen space with Himmanshoo Malhotra.

But this young lad, who has become a domestic name now, thanks to his spirited performance as Anant in Star Plus’ Navya, the Swastik Pictures productions which is going off air on 29 June 2012, announced that he is not doing any new show and tweeted,  “I am not doing Humsafar. It was offered to me but couldn’t do it as I have to go home for a month at least.”This piece of news is surely bad information for all the Shaheer fans.

Now we have dug deep and found other technical reasons of him shying away from Humsafar. Apparently, he is under a contract with Swastik as per which he is still in the period where his dates are blocked with the production house.

Furthermore it is also learned that Star Plus has had a meeting with Shaheer wherein they showed interest in retaining him in the channel by giving him some other show as part of the channel’s policy to retain its actors.

Well, looks Shaheer is still not at the losing front!

Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani fame Sukirti Khandpal is now all set to woo her fans as the modern and uber cool Jazz in Zee TV’s upcoming show Rab Se Sona Ishq, produced by Jay Mehta.

As known, the show is loosely based on Bollywood flick Namaste London starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif where Sukirti is said to be reprising Kat’s role. It is interesting to note that the Nainital girl has so far done quite substantial roles in shows like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Dill Mill Gaye and PKYEK. In her career so far, Sukirti has stayed away from saas-bahu sagas and even after the end of PKYEK, she chose to make her comeback in a modern avatar.

When asked about the reason behind doing Rab Se Sona Ishq, she said, "I don't have anything against saas bahu sagas, but at the moment I want to wear lots of western clothes, flaunt my curly hair and go to London. I think these are my three demands”.

She even feels that playing the lead in a daily isn’t an easy task, as per her, "I consciously decided to take up something which is extremely light and doesn't involve mental and physical stress. When you are playing a lead on a daily soap, a lot of mental and emotional work goes in to it since you have to look real”.

 In the past few days we have came up with the report about ace actor Ashok Saraf of Hum Paanch fame returning to small screen with Milind Dabke’s dream project for SAB TV. We also told you about Sharad Vyas and Pallavi Pradhan being a part of this yet to be titled show.

Here we are with the latest development on the show that two actors, who debuted on small screen with Neela Telefilms’ Krishnaben Khakhrawala aired on Sony Entertainment Television, Mehul Vyas and Neha Lakshmi Iyer have also been roped in for this serial which is based on a famous Gujarati novel written by Ratilal Borisagar.

Neha will be seen as Ishita, daughter of Rajni played by Ashok Saraf. Ishita will be a pampered child who will be loved a lot by her father. Mehul will play Ishita’s brother.

Neha confirmed her presence in the show and said “We have already completed the pilot shoot and it has been sent to the channel. We are expecting to get a launch date soon,”

Television actress Priyanka Bassi is popularly known for her famous act as Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwalia in the popular Soap Left Right Left. She is originally from Delhi and has also attended Barry John's Theatre Group.

And she was last seen in a reality show Survivor India aired on Star Plus, but now the beautiful actress feels that “realities like that is a big ‘no’ for me”.  She is just waiting for her next big fiction show.

Priyanka says, “I am waiting for that one big opportunity which will give me overnight success. Having said that it is very difficult to get a role or script which is challenging. I don’t want to restrict myself when it comes to the genre of fiction shows, but the role should be really good.”

Talking of her Survivor experience, she goes on to say, “Realities like that could get you into controversy. You might not be shown as the person you are, and this might upset your family and fans. When I got a call for Survivor, I was dying to be a part of it. Now I can say that I have tasted reality, and a show like this will not excite me anymore. I am basically waiting for a fiction show, and want to be famous again.”

On the reality shows that she would want to do, Priyanka avers, “I will not mind doing a dance reality show. But as I told you, the priority will be for a fiction show and a role that will take the nation by storm (smiles).”

We have already informed you about the Zee tv’s new upcoming paranormal activity based show Fear Flies- Dar Ki Sacchi Tassverein, which will send tremors to your spine and will scare to death. Now after the concept was concocted, the search began for the host and speculations speak that it might get ended up with picking up Mandira Bedi. The show would be broadcasted twice in a week.

The show which is based on true goose bumping stories of life which will be shot at various real locations across the India; the show is slated to be aired from 30th June 2012 with 26 initial episodes. Many big names of small and silver screen were contacted for anchoring of the show. Few of them were Jimmy Shergill, Kay Kay Menon, Vikram Bhatt, Gul Panag, Manoj Bajpai etc.

Rajshri Productions has always struck the right chord with the masses when it comes to churning out shows based on family values and ethics.

Again on the league, it is launching a unique family show on Star Plus, titled, Pyaar Ka Dard Hain Meetha Meetha  Pyaara Pyaara. Like the title bagging eyes and being quite a big one, the show’s cast is also huge. We have already written about names like Nakul Mehta, Mukesh Khanna, Paintal, Manasi Salve and others. And the latest we have learned is that Ajita Kulkarni and Bharti Sharma are also a part of the star cast.

Seasoned actress Ajita, last seen in Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and who has also acted in the movie What’s Your Rashee, will be seen as Sushma. On the other hand, Bharti will enact the character of Kamini. Bharti is currently also a part of Zee TV’s Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuyein.

Sushma and Kamini both will belong to the main female lead, Pankhudi’s, family. They both will have peculiar mannerisms. Sushma will be loud and humorous whereas Kamini will keep on self boasting.

Bharti says “It’s a challenge for me as I am playing two different roles in two different shows. But it’s fun”.

Finally the title tussle for Zee TV’s new love tale between Jay Production and Balaji Telefilms is over with Jay Mehta finalizing the title Rab Se Sona Ishq.

However, talking about the story it will revolve around the innocent girl Sahiba who is deserted by the man she loves on the very day of their wedding. The journey undertaken by Sahiba from the heartland of Punjab to the unknown city of London, just to get her man back will form the crux of the story.

Further, the team of Rab Se Sona Ishq is all set to fly to London for a three months schedule. We hear that the story which will start in Punjab will showcase the beautiful locales of the place. The shooting is presently on in villages near Chandigarh and Patiala.

The unit has shot in the famous haveli where the shoot of some landmark films like Jab We Met, Masoom, and Dev D is said to have taken place. At London, the unit plans to shoot at all the monumental places starting from the Opera house, to the London High, museums etc. We also hear that the team will shoot at various venues where the Olympic Games will be hosted in London. The team is set to travel to London on 17 June 2012.

After churning back to back love frictions the team is gearing for conceptual diversification. The creative’s are already kicked about their upcoming venture on Star Plus, a bi-weekly crime thriller christened Emergency Special Force.

Now buzz has it that the production house is also working for a social drama on Zee TV. The serial will have a Muslim backdrop and its setting will be in Chandigarh. The show has a huge star cast of 17 to 18 actors. The plot will basically be a love story and will see two couples playing as the leads. All we have learned is that two sisters will get married in the same family.

For the above news Gul, producer of 4 Lions Films said “I have not yet received any confirmation about the show from the channel. But would definitely let you know once I get a confirmed date,”

If you think acting is an easy job then you certainly thought wrong. Pallavi Purohit who plays Padmini, in Colors' magnum opus, Madhubala… Ek Ishq Ek Junoon had to endure great difficulty while shooting a Ganpati scene where she was seen running away from the goons sent by her tyrant husband, Balraj.

As a way of disguise from the goons, Padmini who plays a pregnant woman in the first few episodes of the show had to constantly apply gulal on her face to hide her identity. According to sources, over the 4 days the incessant application of gulal initially resulted in irritation, followed by roughness that eventually developed into skin rashes! Pallavi soon realized that she had developed an allergy and after abandoning the shoot, she immediately rushed to seek advice from the doctor.

We contacted Pallavi, she told about her skin infection and said, "Yes, I was allergic to gulal but I had no option but to shoot. Doctor has strictly told me not to apply and I was on medication. But the scenes that I shot have come out really well."

Well, your work is really appreciable Pallavi, keep up the spirit.

As per the latest update model turned actor Aarti Puri, who has done few films down south, will be playing Drashti Dhami's sister in the show. Hers is going to be a parallel lead in the show. The character will be as important as Drashti Dhami, who is playing the lead in the show.

When contacted Saurabh Tewari, the producer of the show, he confirmed the news and said, "Yes, Aarti is playing Drashti's sister in the show and her character is very important. She is a fantastic actor". On the other side source tried contacting with Aarti but she refused to comment on anything.

New sitcom on SAB TV, Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother is doing pretty well. All the unique characters are performing hard to bounce its popularity. Especially the lead actress Muskaan Mehani, who is playing the role of Jennifer Chawla, wife of Sameer Chawla- the youngest brother on the show played by Vrajesh Hirjee.

According to the plot she acts like a foreigner, born and brought up in London, Jenny has stayed there for 20 years and has recently shifted to India. Hence, she faces difficulty to talk in Hindi. Now, while shooting for the show, Muskaan, who has a terrific command over Hindi, was unable to put on a false accent. It was her producer Deven Bhojani and co-actor Vrajesh who came to her rescue and helped her pick up the accent

Vrajesh Hirjee said, "It was fun teaching Muskaan how to talk in a British accent. I remember a scene where she says Netaji instead of Pitaji in the show and I couldn't stop laughing."

Incidentally, viewers will see Muskaan in a western look for the first time on screen and the actress, we hear, is quite excited about her role.

And now we hear they are set for a new surprise for their audiences as buzz says that the production house is all set to launch a unique love story for Sony TV. Grapevine is abuzz that it is adapted from the story of Beauty and the Beast.

This love story is said to be about a young guy who is an immensely popular Radio Jockey who has a murky side to his life as he is not good looking. Later the story reaches an interesting point when he falls in love with an extremely beautiful girl.

Hina Parmar, who is currently seen as Saraswati in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki on Life OK has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. She will play the girl next door and it is said that her role is loosely inspired from Amrita Rao's character from the film Vivah.

When contacted Sumeet Mittal he said, "Yes, I am making a pilot for Sony TV but I really can't comment on the concept." Sources also spoke to Hina Parmar, she said, "Yes, I am doing the show but it's too early to talk about it."

As the story revolves around the life of four teenage girls studying in standard 12, the makers are on the hunt of suitable young looking faces. Buzz states that they have roped in the beautiful and gracious Fenil Umrigar to play one of the girls.

Fenil has already appeared in shows like Maryada Lekin Kab Tak on Star Plus and currently she is seen as Priya in Life OK’s one of the top rated shows, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhav.

In Gossip Girls, she will play the role of Sana, a simple Muslim girl who will aspire to be a footballer in future. The young actress Fenil confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am doing this show and will start shooting for it very soon. It’s a very interesting story of four girls and their lives. This is all what I can share with you now”.
