Producer-director Mahesh Bhatt entered the house of Bigg Boss for a couple of hours to present a contract deal to Sunny to cast her as the lead actress in this sequel of the film Jism. The film will be directed by his producer-actress daughter Pooja Bhatt^[9][5] While Leone plays the female lead, the film will have two male protagonists. Currently Pooja Bhatt has signed Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh as lead actors.^[10] Imran Zahid is reportedly playing a role of a narcotics sleuth hailing from Delhi, in the film.^[11]

About casting Sunny Leone in the film Pooja Bhatt says,"I signed Sunny Leone for the same reason I signed John Abraham in Jism. It was instinct. I broke the perception that models can't act with Jism. Now, I am looking forward to break another perception by signing Sunny Leone, a pornstar in Jism 2." Stating the differences between Jism and Jism 2 she says,"Jism was a love story for mature audience, Jism 2 is for mature adult audience. We are looking at raising the bar in every sense - emotionally and sensually.It would be the story of human heart, crime of passion, revenge, betrayal, the same elements that madeJism, with a fresh story.^[12]

Filming began on 1 April 2012 in Jaipur.^[13] The second schedule of Jism 2 was shot in Goa. The last and final shooting schedule of Jism 2 was shot in Sri Lanka^[14] The sequel will hit the screens on 3 August 2012.^[15] It was announced the film will hit 200 theaters in the Andhra Pradesh state in Southeast India in their primary language Telugu.^[16]

The film was passed with an A-certificate by the CBFC, says director Pooja Bhatt, who is glad that cuts were only made "upon her discretion."Pooja tweeted, "A-certificate received for Jism 2. August 3 here we come! India just got itself an erotic thriller that truly reflects the times,". "Let me also clarify to all my 'well-wishers' that Jism 2 has not been affected in the least by the cuts I made 'upon my own discretion'," added the actress-turned-director. ^[17]

Last we informed you all that Pooja Bhatt, director of Jism 2, has decided to auction clothes that Jism 2 cast will wear in the film, but that time we didn’t tell you what was the intention behind doing it and where the money will be used.

Well, here we are with the update, it is learnt that the decision to auction the clothes has been taken so the money earned by it can be given to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Jism 2, a sequel to Bipasha Basu and John Abraham-starrer 2003 release Jism, stars Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.

"Part proceeds from the auction of Jism2 wardrobe to go to PETA India! Woof- Woof indeed," said a post on Jism 2 Twitter page. Jism 2 director Pooja Bhatt confirmed the same by re-tweeting it.

Poorva Joshipura, PETA India's chief functionary, praised Pooja for extending the support. "Pooja Bhatt, Sunny Leone, and co-producer Dino Morea are all already supporters of PETA's homeless dog adoption campaign. We give Pooja Bhatt and the entire Jism 2 team two paws up for taking that initiative further by making PETA India a beneficiary of the Jism 2 wardrobe auction," Joshipura said in a statement.

Before the release of Jannat 2, it was said to be the rip-off of Nicolas Cage’s Lord of War, but now as the film has released in the theatres, the truth is out in open for all to see and pass their verdict.

Though it seems as if Lord of War is present somewhere in the background but the movie is not totally based on the Hollywood hit. The film revolves around the hitherto unexplored-in-Bollywood territory of arms trafficking.

Earlier the comparisons were made because the Emraan Hashmi starrer also deals with arms and ammunition like the Hollywood one. However, this film by Kunal Deshmukh is entirely different. As always Emraan has done a fair job playing the pakka Dilli wala who has no shame in admitting himself to be a kutti kamini cheez as his name goes Sonu Dilli KKC.

Involved in the illegal trading of guns, Emraan’s character believes that this way he is making the life easier for all who wants to kill someone or the other. But his ideologies change as he finds love in Dr. Jhanvi played by Esha Gupta. This is when our hero signs a deal with ACP Pratap played by Randeep Hooda, and helps him to plunge deeper into the arms racket.     

Must say that Randeep stands as a show stealer throughout the film and if Emraan is the base then Hooda is surely the backbone of this building named Jannat 2!

Surely to be watched for some thrilling moments!

And getting under the skin of a character was taken one step ahead on the sets of Jannat 2 when Randeep Hooda, who plays an alcoholic policewallah in the film, actually came drunk on set every single day because he wanted the slur in his dialogue and that slight unsteadiness in his gait.

Director Kunal Deshmukh is all praise for Randeep. He says, "I truly appreciate Randeep's dedication. If you are not an alcoholic (which Randeep isn't) then it is not easy to have your first drink at 9 in the morning just to be able to stay in character. Randeep did it every day of the film set. In fact, it is one of the reasons why Randeep is so convincing on screen."

Kunal adds, "But if Randeep downed a couple of pegs of whisky each day, Emraan Hashmi did just the opposite. Though he plays a hustler and is actually a 'kutti kameeni cheez', Emi kept his wits about him. Conscious of the fact that alcohol may ruin his diet regimen, Emraan steered clear of the potent stuff. However, he couldn't resist drinking cups of hot chocolate to keep himself warm all through the winter schedule in Delhi."
