This piece of news will surely sadden the fans of Bharat Kaul and Charu Asopa, who were earlier on the headlines to be in the final list of casting in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, produced by Sphere Origins.

But without a valid reason they were abruptly removed from the show at the last minute. Buzz making its way says the reason for this is that the story has been tweaked by the channel. However, the recent development in the script has forced certain changes, and Bharat Kaul’s character, who was earlier roped to play the father of lead Sahil (played by Ashish Kapoor) has been erased.

While on the other side, Charu Asopa, who was last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on Life OK, was to play the sister of the male leads. But she has also been ousted and the creative team is now looking for a younger face.

Bharat Kaul expressed displeasure saying, “Yes, I have been informed today that I am not needed for the Sony show. The reason given was that with the script change, the father’s role has been removed. I had got many other offers, and to reject an actor after everything is finalized is not done. I ask the concerned people – ‘If an actor had refused to do the show at the last minute, how would they have reacted?’. Anyway, I guess this is part of life.”

Charu Asopa too echoed her sentiments and said, “I am not doing the show anymore. Everything was fixed and I was to start shoot when I was informed that they needed a younger looking face to play the sister.”

All we can say is this is part and parcel of the television industry!

Last we informed you that Aruna Irani’s show Dekha Ek Khwaab is all set to bid adieu soon due to dropping TRPs and if you are guessing about its replacement then we bring you the answer.

The latest news making its way is that beautiful lady Aamna Sharif is all set to make her comeback with a new drama and her show might replace Dekha Ek Khwaab. Aamna rose to fame by playing Kashish in her hit TV show Kahiin To Hoga, though the lady also tried her luck in Bollywood but unfortunately her flicks couldn’t do well at the box office. Now, the actress is all set to make her comeback with a new drama which will be aired on Sony.

Her show is likely to replace Aruna Irani’s Dekha Ek Khwaab which might go off air in the mid of July. However, some gossip mongers are saying that usually Sony start to air promos of a new show at least a month before it premieres but this time the channel hasn’t aired any promo of the possible replacement of DEK since yet.

All we can do is wait to see what the channel has kept in the kitty for the audience!

Pradeep’s (Pawan Shankar) life will turn cluttered when he comes to face out his wife with someone else in Sony’s popular show Kya Hua Tera Vaada. The show will get to see an interesting track coming up soon, in which Pradeep will be getting jealous to see Mona (Mona Jaswir Singh) and Jatin (Hiten Tejwani) coming closer to each other.

According to the current track of the show, Jatin, Mona and all the kids are having their dinner together which is intolerable for Pradeep. Mona realizes that Jatin is good human being and she takes note of his caring attitude towards her. Jatin then proposes Mona for marriage, which makes Pradeep envious.

In the upcoming track of the show, the viewers will get to see that Pradeep will call Mona's parents in jealousy and tell them to come soon as his parents are forcing Mona to get married to someone else.

Pawan says, "Yes, he will get jealous after seeing Mona and Jatin together. It's very natural for any man to react like this who will see his wife, girlfriend with any other man and Pradeep is also in the same state of mind. As a result, he is trying this way to stop it."

Only now Pradeep will get to learn a lesson, when same will happen to him.

Happy days for Dr. Ashutosh (Sharad Kelkar) and Dr. Nidhi’s (Kritika Kamra) just married life will melt out when vamp Dr. Mallika aka Rukhsar Rehman will enter in their life on Sony Entertainment Television’s show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

As reported earlier too, Nidhi and Ashutosh’s married life will hit the rock bottoms as Mallika will be hell bent on stealing away the happiness. After undergoing domestic violence, Mallika has lost her memory and she only remembers Dr Ashutosh. In the future, Nidhi and Ashutosh will enter into a fight over Mallika because she will be backstabbing Nidhi and once again try to have Ashutosh in her life.

This will lead to some tense moments between Ashutosh and Nidhi and their marital bliss will hit a rocky patch. Furthermore, Ashutosh will be in a dilemma whether to support his friend Mallika or be with Nidhi.

When contacted Rukhsar she shared regarding the track, “I will be fine in the show and then the real story will unfold. There’s a lot to watch.”

Murder mystery will continue in Shubh Vivah on Sony
All know the real culprit behind the murder of Amrit in Sony’s drama Shubh Vivah. The UTV Production’s show is trying hard to connect with audience since the major death sequence happened.

Amrit’s death marked the exit of Eijaz Khan which was quite unexpected for the audience. Now, in the show the blame finger has been pointed at Amrit’s wife Saroj (Neha Janpandit) for the murder. The upcoming sequences will see court scenes wherein Saroj will be targeted for the murder. But she will have an emotional outburst and state that she has tolerated domestic violence and haven’t said a word against it. She will question the court why a girl has to suffer all the time?

On the other hand, Vinod (Vinay Rohraa) Amrit’s younger brother is trying hard to save her innocent bhabhi. Soon in the coming plot he will find some clue which will bring in Sarla (Aashka Goradia) and her husband, Madan (Abhishek Lohan), into the entire murder picture. When got in touch with Neha Janpandit regarding the track she refrained from divulging any details and said, “I am clueless about the track as we are shooting cut to cut.”

Since this comes in news that Sony’s mature love story Bade Acche Lagte Hain is taking a time leap it has become the talk of the television town. The Balaji Telefilms creation is geared up to shock its audience by its twisting post line which has already created a lot of hype. 

As reported earlier, there will be major highlights in the storyline post the leap wherein, Ayesha aka Chahat Khanna will get married to Ram Kapoor and the two will have a five year old son.

TV audiences must be curious to know about the show's latest developments but here we have the juicy news from the television town. Sources confirm that Ayesha aka Chahat Khanna will no longer be a part of the show post the leap. Chahat has already put down her papers as she is unhappy with the way her character turns negative and she is neither keen on playing a mother's role.

She doesn’t want to essay a motherly role post leap and hence has submitted the papers to the production house. Though a final confirmation is still awaited but sources are confident over the fact that Chahat won’t continue anymore.

Television actress Mona Singh won her laurels with Sony’s popular hit show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and scored great on small-screen. She is also known for excellent anchoring skills and is currently seen in Balaji Telefilm’s Kyaa Hua Tera Vaada on Sony Entertainment Television.

As known the show is loosely based on Bollywood movie Biwi No.1 and is doing pretty well.  Viewers are glad that Mona didn’t cry over her poor fate as her husband of 15 years left her for another woman.

Instead Mona is playing intelligently to bring Pradeep aka Pawan Shankar back. In the future episodes it is up for some more interesting twists. As last seen Mona has given a job interview at Anushka’s (Mouli Ganguly) office. Now, she will get selected for the job and will be seen as a corporate woman. In coming episode Mona will be seen challenging Anushka and Pradeep upfront and try to prove everyone that she is not only a good housewife but also a promising professional.

Pammi (Delnaaz Irani) and Suri (Buddhaditya Mohanty) will be supporting Mona in her fight against Anushka. Mona’s kids will also help her. When sources contacted Delnaaz she said, “Like always, I will continue to help my best friend (Mona) so that she can continue her fight.”

They are indeed quite catchy and have succeeded in bagging the attention from the viewers. Though the show is set to go air but the casting process is something which continues till long, all thanks to the policy of changing tracks in daily soaps. Every time we get to see some or the new face being added on.

And this time around the makers have got in Trishika Tiwari to play one of the crucial characters. Trishika is well known for her acts in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi (Star One) and Phulwa (Colors). She features in the ongoing promos and is looking very impressive.

Her character’s name is Namita who is bubbly, chirpy and the over-pampered child of the family. She is Gaurav Khanna’s (male lead) sister and in spite of being naughty has a serious back story.

Talking about her role in the daily, Trishika sounds quite excited as she says, “It’s been great working with Hats Off. I am all excited about the show as I have a very great character which will get revealed as the story will unfold. My character of Namita will always be in tiff with her grandmother and will be very much pampered in the family”.

After starting its run with Sony entertainment Television, celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has changed loyalties and the fifth season of it will now be aired on Colors.

At present the makers are struggling hard with the toughest of job, zeroing in the celebrity contestant. Ever since one heard of Jhalak going air, loads of names from tellywood sought the attention. Right from the coy Gopi vahu aka Giaa Manek to the bold Ammaji aka Meghna Malik from Na Aana Is Des Laado, many prominent names made their way to the list.

Of late, names like Gurmeet Choudhary and Anas Rashid also joined the bandwagon and now we have come to know that standup comedians most popularly known for their acts in Comedy Circus, Bharti Singh and Manish Paul too have been approached to show off their dancing skills on the show. Like others, both Bharti and Manish refused to confirm the news.

Meanwhile, the name of the show’s host also happens to be suspense for all. Last it was reported that JDJ 4 winner Meiyang Chang might don the host’s hat for this season. And if all goes well then one might get to see ex-contestant Ragini Khanna aka Suhana from Sasural Genda Phool as the co-host of Chang.

Crime Patrol has been buzzing up the TRP of the channel Sony since the year 2003 with the real stories of the society and the context and narration of the serial.

But it seems that it is going to get a tough competition from a show that has started to air on the channel Life OK since the past two day. The two shows are of the same genre and vouch to focus on real life based felonies.

The first episode of the newly launched show Savdhan India which is aired at 11 pm showcased the story of two sisters who killed their parents to get the freedom. The second one showcased a gang rape of a girl by the truck drivers. Both the cases were nicely shot and managed enough well to draw the eyeballs of the viewers.

Well, it won’t fidget with the show Crime Patrol as the two shows are aired on different days. The TRP of Crime Patrol is 3.6, let’s see if it manages to retain the same TRP even with this new show entering the arena of competition.

SHARAD KHELKAR REPACEMENT OF DR. AUSUTOSH IN TV SERIAL.The news about Mohnish Bahl quitting Kuch Toh Log Kahenge came as a bit of a shock to the show’s viewers. While for some time it was known that all was not well between the actor and the production company, what was not expected was that he would leave the show mid-way. The news about his exit was broken by Sony’s business head Sneha Rajani on Twitter. She admitted that Mohnish was leaving the show because of health reasons. But rumours refused to die about whether health alone was the sole reason behind his exit from the show, which has got critical appreciation despite lagging on rating charts.
Mohnish is known for finely balancing his career between films and serials. He hasn’t done many serials but never left them mid-way. So why did he quit Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, which is barely six months old and still has a long way to go? When contacted, he refused to comment saying that he would like the channel to explain the reason. However, when we insisted on clarification whether he quit the show only on health grounds, Mohnish said that he suffers from lower back problem. “It’s an old health issue that keeps recurring from time to time and gets corrected after a few days’ rest. But it’s never been so acute. Gruelling shooting schedules and lack of proper rest have made it worse since I started shooting for Kuch Toh Log…” he says.
But wasn’t he aware of what he was getting into when he signed the show which is five-day-a-week daily? Surely the back problem must have weighed on his mind? After all, he has done daily soaps before too. “I have never shot like this for any of my past serials. For Dil Mill Gaye I used to shoot between six to 12 days in a month. So it was easier to handle,” he defends. But the case with Kuch Toh Log Kahenge was different. He elaborates, “As per my contract I was required to shoot for only 12 days, but since it is a lead character-centric show, I had to shoot for 18 to 20 days. The location was quite far away from the place I stay, which is in south Mumbai. It required four hours of to and fro travelling. Hectic shooting schedules, night shifts and travelling started taking a toll on my health. There was no way I could have continued working like this because I couldn’t push myself any further.”
