It is rightly said that big screen is a game of Box office collections and small screen is based on TRPs. The collections and TRPs decide the fate of a movie and a serial in real sense.

However, the makers and the producers put their best efforts in making the serials to lure the audience but sometimes their efforts don’t produce required results. Same thing is happening with the recently launched SAB TV’s popular comedy show Bhai Bhaiyya aur Brother. As per the industry sources, the serial may go off air soon, this might be disappointing news for those who like the serial the most. Produced by Vipul Shah and Deven Bhojani, Bhai Bhaiyya aur Brother is witnessing low TRPs these days.

Sources further added that, the comedy show garnered average on the TRP rankings in its beginning days but gradually the serial failed to get good ratings and now the show has come under the scanner. It’s been said that, it might go off air next month. Though, there is no official confirmation regarding the news yet!

Let’s see if the makers can bring any change!

Shekhar Suman’s charming and subtle histrionics show Movers and Shakers has not managed to impress viewers till date and rather than galloping it was left limping in the race of TRPs. This SAB TV’S sitcom has packed its bag and will last air on 22 June 2012.

Already this show has been shifted to the 7 pm slot from Monday (18 June) night. This standup comedy series had first been shunted from 10.30 to 11pm and the original producer Runway Productions was also replaced by Optimystix Entertainment.

Producer Vipul Shah from Optimystix confirmed the “off air” development” stating, “We are taking a seasonal break and might return by the year end with season 2.”

When asked to comment on the lower ratings, he said, “Channel was quite happy with the average 0.6-0.7 TVR and we even touched 1 at times. Furthermore, on the face humor, satire and personal jokes were not part of regular SAB family comic fare so they were happy with these above numbers at the late night slot and hence mostly the show will also return with the same title sponsor. This also reflects that the market is also happy with the response.”

Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother!!! is an Indian comedy television series, which will make its debut on 4th June 2012 on SAB TV.Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother!!! centers around Rajeev's character bhaiya who is a family man residing in Mumbai with his wife and son. A serious and peace loving character, Rajeev a.k.a bhaiya will find it difficult to retain his sanity when his other two brothers come to stay together. It's about a family that unites after 2 decades. Three brothers, who have been living separately with their own individual families, meet at middle brother's house in Mumbai. All are raised in three absolutely contrasting cultures. Younger brother's family has come from USA and older brother's family is from a small village of Gujarat, called Pichur-Wadi. It's East meets West, in the centre situation, where from a 7-year-old child to 70-year-old grandmother, all of them, with various characteristics, standards of living and upbringing, live under one roof; in a little humorous way with their discomforts and yet emotional bonding. The series progresses through the lighter situations mostly and warm and sensitive situations occasionally; faced by all these peculiar characters, with their own individual quirks, likes and dislikes. How the families of the three brothers get into a relationship-how they need to be marginalized–how they need to learn something from one another-while embarking on a happy relationship is the main premise of the show.

Comedy Circus gets an extension on sony tv
The Optimystix’s super-popular comedy based reality show on Sony Entertainment Television; Comedy Circus has now become a wonderful medium to bring a smile on everyone’s lips. Recently it completed its 300 episodes and the team celebrated the success fully. 

Moreover, along with the success, the current season is coming to an end by this month. The show’s fans wore a gloomy expression after the news broke out. But folks, you can now heave a sigh of relief as Comedy Circus … has got an extension and it will continue to tickle the funny bone till July, 2012.

So, its current season will end in July and its next season will hit the screens from August, 2012 which will continue till December.

Producer Vipul Shah confirmed the development and said, “That’s true… the season of Kahani Comedy Circus Ki will continue till end of July whereas the next season would begin thereafter.”

A lot of hype was created in the media as seasoned film and TV actor Shekhar Suman came back with his cult show, Movers and Shakers on SAB TV helmed by Sailesh Dave’s Runway Productions.

But to the disappointment of all, the show couldn’t bag the desired numbers as it was expected. And if you think that this must have brought Shekhar’s morale down then you are totally wrong. Though he is a bit distressed but the makers are looking ahead to bring in some changes in the concept to top the number chart!

Sources say that the production house has undergone a change of hands and Optimystix has replaced Runway Productions. It is notable that Optimystix is doing strong with two of its shows Saas Bina Sasural and Comedy Circus, both aired on Sony TV. Buzz has it that this decision followed a meeting held with producer Vipul Shah of Optimystix and the channel officials.

And it’s not just a new production house for the show but it has got a new name too. From now on it will be called Movers and Shakers… Masala Markey. Producer Vipul Shah said, “As of now Movers and Shakers is our show. We have planned something big with the series and accordingly we have also changed the title of it.”

He further added, “The basic format will remain the same but we have planned to make it spicier, funnier and it will have something which will connect to the masses.”

So from next week onwards don’t get surprised if Shekhar says, ‘Welcome to Movers and Shakers…Masala Markey’

It has been nearly half a decade since Sony Entertainment Television’s Kahaani Comedy Circus Ki has been tickling the funny bone of the audiences as the show first aired on 2007.

However, earlier it was reported that the show is all set to bid adieu in May-June to make way for the sixth season of singing reality show, Indian Idol. But here we have some news that will surely bring a smile to your faces.

Little birdie informed that the creative of the channel and the producer, in a recent meeting, decided to continue with the show. Producer Vipul Shah confirmed the reported as he said, “Everyone knows that Comedy Circus is a brand in itself. According to the broadcasters and also as per GRPs, the show has always done wonders. Therefore, instead of giving a break to Comedy Circus the channel decided to continue with Comedy Circus.”

The new season of this comedy show would be airing on the same time as it does currently and Indian Idol will air on a different time slot. Comedy Circus will surely be retained till December 2012.

We are sure the Comedy Circus lovers must be elated to hear the news!

Actor Anup Soni has played a variety of roles in his career so far, from acting to hosting; the seasoned actor has tried everything.

More than showing the reconstruction of events, we try to look into what was there in the mind of the person who committed the crime”.

It is notable that Crime Patrol Dastak is the fourth season of Crime Patrol, which first went on air way back in May 2003. It was then hosted by actor Diwakar Pundir, who was later replaced by Shakti Anand. The second season of it went live in January 2010, and was presented by Anup and actress Saakshi Tanwar.
