After completing 700 episodes tickling the funny bone of viewers, SAB TV’s FIR has more to magnetize its audience through its laughter slugs.

Edit 2 productions’ FIR team is thankful to everyone for the great success of the show, while producer Binaifer Kohli says, “It’s a well-knit cast and crew. The humor is not slapstick and the content is not redundant. The creatives and the writers work really well. I am thankful to everyone for the great success of the show. We wish we complete many more successful episodes,”

On the other hand, while speaking to the actors from the show they sound very stimulating about the success. Kiku Sharda aka Gulgule said, “It has been an awesome experience being a part of FIR. We had a party on the sets. We cut cake, danced and enjoyed a lot.”

Gopi Bhalla aka Gopi shared, “We partied a lot and it was a dual celebration…for the new set and 700 episodes. We had great fun.”

We congratulate the cop gang of Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik for the big achievement.

It looks like SAB TV has got in a new way of boosting up the TRPs of its shows. Last, it was Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which got a new set made. The whole of Gokuldham society was renovated and the news had bagged a lot of hype.

Following the trend, this time SAB TV has built new set for Edit II Productions’ FIR. Sources say that the sitcom has now got a new set in Malad, Mumbai and now it looks bigger, brighter and better. In fact, the jail too has become more spacious.

Does that mean inspector Chandramukhi Chautala (Kavita Kaushik) will have the ease to catch and put more of thieves behind the bars. Anyway, the unit members are highly delighted with the new set and are thankful to the channel for bringing in this change.

When sources got in touch with Aamir Ali, he said, “Yes, we are shooting on the new set. It’s bigger, better, vibrant and colorful. The show is doing well, hence the renovation. We all are really happy shooting on the new set.”

He further added, “And it has a wonderful air conditioner too. We wanted a bigger and better place. We will gradually starting shooting in the new place.”

Aamir Ali denies doing Sony TV's next

TV actor Aamir Ali is dealing with the rumors that talk of his presence in Adhikari Brothers’ new show on Sony TV, which as heard is going to be a love story.

In the recent past it was updated that the show will see Star Plus’ Maryada fame Raqesh Vashisth and Kahin To Hoga girl Aamna Sharif. Just a day back, it was even brought into the news that Deepshikha Nagpal will also make her return in the fiction world with this show.

And now everyone is talking about the handsome Aamir Ali playing one of the leads in this daily. It is notable that Aamir, who is currently doing SAB TV’s FIR, has shows like Kya Dill Mein Hai and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii to boast of. Other than acting, he even won Nach Baliye 3 with real life partner Sanjeeda Sheikh.

So it never came as a surprise to all when Aamir’s name was called for the show. However, the actor has denied all rumors and has set it straight that he hasn’t been offered any such role. Furthermore, Aamir even said that currently his focus is completely on FIR and there are no other projects beyond that. 

Well, as fans we would have always loved to see Aamir doing some substantial roles but in the end, it’s of course the actor’s wish!

SAB TV’s FIR has welcomed a new entrant in the cop gang and luckily the newbie is winning praises from all for the same.

Buzz has it that Sandeep Anand, who has recently joined the star cast of FIR, is being appreciated for his stint in the show. Prior to this Sandeep was seen doing cameos in this laugh riot but now he has turned to be a permanent part of it.    

Talking of his role a source said, “He is playing the role of Billu. He will be the brother-in-law of the Police Commissioner and even Chandramukhi Chautala (Kavita Kaushik) will be scared to talk to him”. Moreover, his will be a forgetful character and he will presume that he is a zamindar, a woman, and similar diverse characters.

Confirming of his presence in the show, Sandeep said, “Yes, I have bagged a permanent role in FIR. My character, Billu, suffers from memory loss but I can’t reveal much at this point of time and you have to watch the episodes to enjoy more”.

Adding further, he stated, “I have been associated with the crew for quite some time time now and being the youngest member, I get pampered a lot. I am enjoying my role of Billu.”

It is not at all a family drama. This is the story of a Haryanbi Lady Police inspector with her constables. Everyday they are filing a case and how they are going to be solve it, is the story of the serial. Kavita Kausik aka Chandramukhi Chautala. Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala in the serial FIR has been successful in striking a chord with the audience. Audience liked this serial very much; hence we now have a second season.
Plot of FIR
The story of FIR revolves around five police personnel named as Iman Chowki and show the daily events that are farcical and comical in nature. The main idea of the show is funny and unorthodox and the unusual methods that are used by the characters to solve a case every day. Out of all the characters three appear in every show. They are Chandramukhi Chautala, a lady sub-inspector, and two constables, Mulayam Singh Gulgule and Gopinath Gandotra. The fourth character is a famous character known as Bajrang Pandey who is also a police inspector and happens to be the boss of the lady sub inspector. He surfaces in some of the episodes. But the actors have changed as the show has progressed over the years. There is another character named Koki who is actually slim and quote small rhyming couplet and then disappear.

The central of the plot is the character of Chandramukhi Chautala. She is well built, young, educated and well informed. She speaks in Haryanvi accent with a regional dialect of Hindi language. She is good with her job and never fails to solve a case. She bosses over her juniors and also over her boss.

The second most important character of the show is Mulayam Singh Gulgule, who is a middle aged man, and gives ideas to Chandramukhi to solve a case. He always praises his superior and says that the idea given by him is actually not his but her own. Yet she keeps on slapping him hard on the slightest mistake but he never protests. He speaks and acts in a comical way. He is a fat person and a foodie.

Gopinath Gandotra happens to be an aged constable who speaks in Punjabi accent and spends much of the time reading newspaper and trying to speak in very bad English. He is not much involved with solving any case. Chandramukhi calls him Uncle and makes fun of him but rarely slaps him.

Koki is a young girl, who has a very minor role. The most senior inspector in the serial is of Bajrang Pandey. He is young and energetic and afraid of marriage. Once a soothsayer prophesied that he would die the moment he marries a girl. The lady sub-inspector wants to marry him and plays slightly amorous tricks with him but he never pays any heed to her.

The inspector was transferred to another police station after a few seasons and there was a new replacement of the earlier inspector.

This serial is a popular one and has been going on for six years now. It is comic and hilarious. It offers a good doze of fun and laughter to the audience after hard days work.
