Supriya Shukla is one actress who brings in a lot of energy into her on-screen characters. She is someone best known for her sharp and suave acting.

Needless to say that her charming appearance and way of enacting a role with ease makes fans adore her all the more. She first impressed all playing the loving and caring mother to Taani (Anupriya Kapoor) in Star Plus’ Tere Liye.

Her chemistry as a mother-in-law with Harshad Chopra aka Anurag in the daily was also marvelous which made the two feature again as mother-son in Imagine TV’s Dharampatni. She was last seen in Life OK’s Meri Maa. And as heard she has now been offered a meaty role in Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd's upcoming fiction show on Sony Entertainment Television.

Supriya said, "I have been offered to play two roles but I don't know for which I have been ultimately finalized. As for me, I am ready to take any role as both are challenging and will allow me to explore as an actor”.

She further went on adding, “Post Meri Maa, I am on a vacation chilling out with my family and kids and would get back to Mumbai in a couple of days”.

New TV channel Life OK has certainly managed to entertain the viewers with its popular drama shows. And its growing popularity has invited many production houses to start new ventures, and the latest to add to this list is Sphere Origins productions.

Buzz has it that they are planning to launch a light-hearted show on the channel with Abhishek Sharma (Miley Jab Hum Tum fame), Neha Saxena (last seen in Tere Liye), and a new comer Udit Shukla in pivotal roles. Sources say that the show is said to be based on the storyline of Munnabhai MBBS, and has been tentatively titled Mantu Bhaiya Ki Darling.

The pilot episode has been shot and soon the shooting will start in June. The story revolves around a guy and his efforts to win the girl whom he loves. While Neha Saxena confirmed to have shot for the pilot refusing to diverge any further, Abhishek on the other hand sounded a bit perplexed as he said, “I am clueless about the show you are talking about.”

Shakti Arora, who played Tapush in Star Plus’ Tere Liye, explored his potential and dabbled at anchoring with Imagine TV’s Gyaan Guru.

Needless to say this experiment yielded results and his hosting skills were loved by one and all. The show became quite a rage among the masses and everybody praised Shakti for his lively presence on the sets as a host. Thanks to his wonderful stint on the reality show, Shakti was then offered to host the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2012 which were held on Thursday, May 3, 2012.

This was indeed a moment of pride for Shakti and before taking on the podium to host the glorious event, he was quoted saying, "It's a great event I am excited to be a part of such a big event. All the actors and the producers of our Indian Cinema will be part of the evening today. I haven't really prepared myself. I have decided to be myself and I will meet people with warmth and respect. There are butterflies in my stomach but I'm sure it will all be fine."

Meanwhile, sources say that Shakti did his job pretty well and impressed one and all with his liveliness. With this we also got to hear that after trying hands into anchoring, Shakti is willing to get back to acting. He is waiting for a good script to come his way.

She won all hearts playing the naïve and simple, Mouli in Balaji Telefilms’ Tere Liye that aired on Star Plus.

However, once the show went off air, one couldn’t hear much about the lovely Neha Saxena. Though she was spotted at various events of Telly world but Neha showed no sign of returning back to fiction. When the actress was recently caught by the sources, she revealed the facts about her sudden hibernation and said, "Being an actress is very hard as you have no time left for family and friends. After Tere Liye, I finally caught up with some old friends and family members. Spent amazing time with them!"

Hmmm…that’s quite logical. But now that we guess she is over with fun part, will she be keen on coming back to TV? To this Neha said, “I am looking forward to get back to acting soon. I am currently meeting for some new projects but it’s too early to reveal anything about it as nothing is finalized yet. I recently also shot for a parachute hair oil ad. But it feels great to know that people are waiting to see me back on TV again."

Talk of Anupriya Kapoor and the name itself is enough to drive her fans crazy. She won accolades playing Taani in Balaji Telefilms’ Tere Liye and till date, resides in the hearts of millions. But the pretty faced went missing from the small screen soon after the show got end.

Recently the actress was quizzed by the sources about her absence from the screen and she says, “I know my fans want to see me on the screen as soon as possible. I am getting offers but nothing is exciting me to the extent of giving a nod. Currently, I am busy travelling and it is keeping me busy.”

During her show Tere Liye, Anupriya’s name was many times connected with her co-star Harshad Chopra, which the two always denied. But their romantic pairing left many tongue wagging and rumours actually never died down till the show was ended.

However, Anupriya is least affected with these kind if buzz and ask her if in the future, will she pair opposite Harshad and she chirpily replies, “Why not… If something interesting comes up then I would definitely love to work with him. But actors don’t get repeated in TV shows very often. But if everything falls into place, then we will be seen together again on the tube.”

As Gajendra Singh gears up for his debut fiction show, Ghar Aaja Pardesi Tera Des Bulaye scheduled to be aired on Sahara One; we have got some latest updates about the daily.

Last we had informed you about the show roping in popular faces like Vikram Gokhale, Smita Jaykar and Mahesh Thakur to essay pivotal roles in the show. And now we have hit the jackpot as the names of the lead actors are no more unbeknownst to us.  An industry insider has updated that Aryeman Bhatia, last seen in Yeh Ishq Haaye as a parallel lead will essay the male lead in the show.

While the female lead will be played by Ruchi Savarn seen in shows like Zindagi Kahe... Smile Please and Tere Liye. In the daily she will play daughter to Mahesh Thakur. 

Aryeman Bhatia confirmed the buzz and said, “Yes, I will be part of Ghar Aaja Pardesi. We have already shot for the show, but I can’t reveal much about my character at the moment.” And Ruchi expressed her thoughts saying, “My character is a lovable one but I don’t think it would be right time to divulge any details.”

So here we have a good piece of news for all the Harshad Chopra fans! The blue eyed boy of Balaji head honcho Ekta Kapoor, who has so far appeared in two of Balaji’s highly acclaimed shows Tere Liye and Kis Desh Mein Hai Dil Mera, will now be seen as a parallel lead in Life Ok’s Saubhagyavati Bhava.

Last seen in Imagine’s Dharampatni as Mohan, Harshad is ready to don a new character. Post Dharampatni’s end it was anticipated that he might take a bit long to get hold of a new show but looks like the lady luck is completely favoring him. Talking of his entry in the show, a source said, “Harshad Chopra has been finalized to essay a parallel lead in Life OK's Dil se di dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava? His character would be a positive one and is probably coming into frame to be Jhanvi's (Sriti Jha) savior."

As seen in the show, Dadi has come to know of Viraj's (Karanvir Bohra) mental illness and is hospitalized due to it. A source suggests that Dadi would lose her voice and at the end of this track, Harshad Chopra would make an entry in the show.
